  1. For sure! I'll swing by your camp if I don't see you cruisin around
  2. Heading to Dumont for the first time in a few years this weekend. Be out there Sat-Mon.
  3. I was surprised how many things besides toy haulers use that CH751 key. Last year I had like $2000 worth of prints stolen from a college art display. No sign of break in. Borrowed the key from security to grab my remaining stuff and sure enough CH751. Even worse was how surprised campus PD was when I showed them I can open any case with a key already on my fob. Took a little explaining that I didn't make an illegal copy, and that whoever they hired to put in those cases used a universal barrel lock.
  4. It's incredibly, ridiculously, insanely, bad-a$$ videos like these that will forever make my water cooler stories of riding some single track seem boring as hell...
  5. Listing this for my pops. Will be getting a full detail this coming week. 2000 Ford Explorer XLS 2wd 137k miles Power everything Sunroof (new one just installed) Been driving this thing this week and as far as I can tell, everything works. Runs great. AC blows cold. Has a couple cosmetic blemishes, but mostly straight and a great low maintenance color. Mechanically, it's all there and working. Asking $2700 obo. Absolutely no rush to sell, but willing to entertain offers. MAY be willing to take partial trade for CA legal handgun. Can work something out for delivery, if needed. Located in North OC/ South East LA County. Text or call me with questions. (562)556-3569 -Eddy
  6. Dream truck! Won't fit in my driveway though Congrats! I'll have to live vicariously through you!
  7. I think I might just be able to this weekend. Won't know until mid-week also
  8. Love these day runs. Will try like hell to make it out
  9. I've thought of doing the same. I think I've seen someone install the mount on the ramp and just take the tv off and place on a bed during transport or loading/unloading. Don't know if there's enough room with most drop down beds though
  10. I'll take pics of the few I'm thinking of getting rid of, might fit what you're looking for.
  11. So sorry to hear this. I only met him briefly, and found him to be a great guy, but I know what he meant to everyone here. Rest in peace Bert.
  12. Rolled right past the Grand Canyon on Thu and the Sedona fires on my way to Amarillo, TX. Helped out a buddy drop off some cargo and ended up visiting some more friends in Southern AZ on the way back. Turns out that the whole southwest looks pretty similar! Only took some pics from the passenger seat when I wasn't driving or catching some sleep. Not much to see other than a couple storms and some cool clouds.
  13. started drawing up one of those hitches a couple of years ago to make one and I still haven't had time to finish it... This vid reminded me! Would love to have one... but then I'll need the Jeep to take it out with... the time to actually use it...
  14. Had the 500mm and tripod all set up... wound up knocking out at 1130. Thanks for staying up! Great shots, Pete!
  15. I live about a mile from epicenter. Felt it pretty strongly. Also lived pretty close to the Whittier quake in '87, and this wasn't as strong as that one. Have felt most of the aftershocks, but there's been so many that even my 6-year old doesn't get up for anything below a 3.0. (As a matter of fact, it started shakin as I was typing this! Check out the time on the last one on the list below. hahaha!)
  16. Turns out I only grabbed the camera at night after a few cocktails. But here's a few that aren't the usual Dumont pics: After a day of duning Moon rising over my rig: Anybody else see a face in our campfire? Moon was looking awesome: Obligatory sunset pic: And I only took this one because in LA we can't see the Milky Way and the few stars we CAN see are orange. I'll have a fisheye next trip out for this shot:
  17. Not sure if I remember white strobes. I know one of our neighbors had a purple LED flag pole. This is our view toward Ranger station: and our neighbors the other way:
