What a kickazz day at Dumont. I always love those smooth, razored out dunes. We sure did get lucky with the weather. It was super cool all morning and only got up to about 92° when we left at ~12:30. The slight winds kept things cool. We had a good size group that made it out. I think there was 11 or 12 people plus the Pahrump group of a few side by sides. Super nice folks. Chadwick, lvnalolife and I left Henderson at 3:30am. We met up at the gas station and saw mineurbiz, dune cruzer and his buddy Scott waiting. We loaded up mineurbiz's quad on our trailer and carpooled. Sand_YFZ and Mike were shortly behind us. We pulled into Dumont just before the sun rose. It was a little windy and about 71°. The sun peaked up just as we started getting geared up to ride. b370 getting ready an excited to dune his XP White truck day at Dumont. One more in the group pulled in too. haha This never gets old! We saw the group from Pahrump pull in over near bathroom 10. Together, we were the only ones there. Sand_YFZ's gorgeous piece of work Sand_YFZ and mineurbiz fueling up I told Scott (langslair) to go make some tracks in that smooth sand for a photo op. He had no problem volunteering. Then at the bottom of the hill his pipe came apart. We sort of "repaired" it. Aaron making some final adjustments for the soft sand. to be continued.... gotta run

Always good times out at that dunes but there is something special about those early morning summer runs. Every time I wake up at 3:00AM for an early trip to Dumont I think to myself "what the hell am I doing?" but then I get out there and realize its all worth it. This was a good sized group followed by lots of laughs. That sand was super soft and razored out! The first run in the morning was the best. It went so long that my thumb starred hurting from pushing the throttle for so long lol! Aaron your bike is pretty bad a$$ and that race fuel is nice to smell when riding behind you! Pete, you never fail to find the good lines out in the dunes. Thanks to all for a great weekend!!

That was exactly what I needed..I had alot of fun. It was good to be out with you guys again. Its been a while..Thats the first trip ive duned extensively on my new engine. Its awesome.1st dune ride (ME) "Mike make sure you top off your gas." (Mike) "Ok" 40 minutes later Mike is out of gas LOL!! CMON GUY REALLY!!! hahahaha...Gotta love your friends...Then Walt pulls up with Mikes gas and dumps his Micky D's in the dunes LOL!! Totally caught me off guard there hahaha...Good times!! Dunes were SO smooth, nice flowing lines...Pete always leads a good dune ride...Til next time!

I can't ever do Wednesdays. Unless more people start showing up and want to do Wed as well, I don't think we can since me and Anna we were 50% of the group last night. lol

hope ya find the dirty bastards!! Wouldnt it be great if they got busted and the cops would chop their FRICKIN hands off!! like they do in some other countrys for stealin..
