  1. Bahaha thats a wonderfull idea, leave a bait jug out every night just for sh!ts and giggles, fill it with awefull stuff, like sugar water or bleach or who knows what, you decide, and hope some jackass steals it, and pours it straight into his tank! :D

Yes, that's exactly my thought too!! Put honey, sugar, or a good dose of diesal in it! :happydrunks:

  2. r6shee did you have your heater turned up in the trailer?

I was hoping that you can get enough radiant heat from the trailer to keep them from freezing, hard to justify the money for the few times I would use it.

YES INDEED. I did have the furnace/heater on all evening @ 73f. I turned it on from sundown til the morning around 10 am. Still wondering if it was a freeze up or a problem with my pump, but it's the first and last time it's ever happened. The evening low was around 20f. or so, that's what leads me to believe it froze.

I'll look into the heaters and insulation, I believe more so for the freshwater lines/hoses since those probably freeeze up first :DDRrocks:

  3. I was in Dumont last mlk weekend and saturday night my water lines froze up (or which I believe they did since they started working fine hours later). Have any of you experienced this issue???? And what do you do to help prevent it??? :chev_bowtie: I have a 23ft. attitude toyhauler.

  4. MAN I WANT ME SOME OF THEM DUNES !!!!! WHY CANT WE LIE LIKE THE SIERRA CLUB AND GET THEM REOPEND

It may not be Kelso dunes but Kelso looks like a great place to ride!!

From my knowledge, the fine for trespassing on gov't/private property in CA is currently $250.00, and that's if the officer decides to ticket you. And of course if you get caught :D:P

I doubt you will get caught?? Since nobody rides there anymore, And if you do decide, it hasn't been a repetitive issue out there so you probably don't have much to worry about. B)

Just let me know how it goes!!!!!?

  5. i have them on my truck and there rated for higher loads unlike those bfg tires,,they do wear faster but is that really going to matter!!

I got the 37" xterrains, no complaints so far!? Ran good in the sand too with very low pressure!

  6. did you ever find a place for extended warranty on your hauler?

An extended warranty on a toyhauler?? yeah they're online like you said, but I don't think they're worth the money, personally, since there's no drivetrain...the most expensive issue would probably be the generator or ac unit, but still it's all up to you? Just my $.02

  7. The smell if from your hot water heater, pull out the probe thingie and you will find that it is either rotted off or has a nasty snot crap on it. You can clean it or replace it and then flush out the water heater. Took me a long time to find this after cleaning the tank a bunch of times. I clean mine 3 or 4 times a year but I am on a well instead of city water.

I have also heard that leaving in a small amount of bleach at all times will not hurt, and it keeps the smell, etc away. Will not harm you and may not even be able to smell it.

Also, I don't know how well this works, but I've also heard to leave the freshwater drain outlet cracked open when storing the hauler?? keeping it dry?

  8. All this talk about batteries and longer run times had me thinking. Does anyone use an inverter? If so is it worth the $$ and worth the work?

I just looked at a WW23FB for sale on GD.com and he had an inverter set up and it said it would run the TV and lights. What, and how many things will they run and for how long? What size is a good size and it it just better to get a protable Generator or go the inverter route?:finger:

A generator All the way!!! :shocked2:

A power inverter will drain your batteries down way to fasst...well at least if you have one big enough to power tv's etc (which would be like a 1500 watt inverter) Unless you plan on hooking your truck up to the trailer plug and letting that run, charging your batteries while you use your inverter.

Otherwise, I would not recommend it. :thumb:
