  1. yeah i'm converting the bike into a trike to not have any vibration problems. i'm gonna have metal tech do the swing-arm and i'm gonna run all JJ&A aluminum axle, hubs, and carrier. as for the trans not holding up, i can't see a problem? if a little 25-30 hp. 250 can pull 21" paddles and my 225lbs. 500 cc's shouldn't have a problem with 75 hp. on tap. :D

  2. hey 'yall   i'm currently working on my new project. it's a cr500 converted to an atc, for hillshootin  :mc:  and the motor is worn out. so i'm wanting to know if anyone here knows of a rebuilder that is REALLY familiar with the cr500? let the input flow :D

  3. i'll also be back out there for pres. day if 'yall wanna hook up and do some hillshootin :freakin_nuts: i know for a fact that the yfz's take a beatin and that tires are ALL the diff. in the world. as for the raptor i own one of them to and it's piped, programmed and filtered and it's 2 to 2 1/2 bikes slower than my ltr. hell my 250r 3-wheeler smokes it but it's a great tractor :) let us know.

  4. Actually extremes will cause more drag with the paddle flexing less. You are better off with regular haulers. The haulers are not for smaller bikes either, every drag bike you look at out there including mine run regular hauler cups. The stiff cups on extremes cause more drag and will slow a lesser horsepower bike down if anything.Any bolt-on type 4 stroke(IE..Pipe,intake,programmer,etc)will be better off running 6 cup comp cut Sandtires Unlimited Padla Brats. They are the lightest best performing tire you can put on a stockbore type 4 stroke. The extremes are probably more dureable than a regular hauler cup,but unless you are roosting all across the hardpack regular hauler cups will hold up great.Another thing also,if you do get haulers dont get 7 cups, get 6 if anything.7 cups is overkill if your bike isnt really hooked up.21x12x8 6 cups on 8x7 blue labels.

i know you your bike is really fast because i've seen you run but my bolt on ltr LOVES the 7 blade 21x12x8 haulers (68" r/o) they were the best money i've spent.
  5. It's never been dynoed. It's estimated to have around 150 at the crank, 100/110 (cvt has a high loss) at the wheels something like that. If those numbers sound high, just remember it's closer to 600lbs than it is 500 and I am about 280lbs. :) Thanks for the comments. I can tell you the charger adds nearly 20mph. Without it the best the bike did with me on it was 47 up banshee. With it does over 60.

your bike deffinately runs good  it was cool watching you race my boss' kids bright yellow/grey lt250 with a yamaha 600 crotch rocket motor in it :D you beat him but it was a brand new bike and it's first time out :)
  6. 20x10x8 7 paddle haulers

:beercheers: what he said ^^^^^ skat-trak haulers, 20x10x8 with 7 blades and bead to bead buff  they work great and dune good also. and if your going to do alot of duning don't go larger than a 65" roll out. call SANDTOYZ UNLIMITED and talk to JOHN --> 818-500-7263 or the guys at ATV CYCLE SPORTS 222-3586
  7. 927 @ 40:1 seems to be the magic ticket for the 500's

:beercheers::laughing: i've been running amsoil dominator because everyone i know that's road for years said it's the best, but.. when i got this zilla they were saying 927 castor @ 24:1 ?? which seems like ALOT of oil and some have told me that 927 castor is bad at gumming up powervalves??
  8. beautiful bike man :beercheers: zilla's are the chit and i've always wanted one and the week before thanksgiving i finally got one :news: and i'm the second owner  i've been trying to get some info/learn about these from q and the others on quadracerhq but i'm not really getting any feedback from them :DDRrocks:post-1291-1197336091_thumb.jpg

  9. So thats where mine gets it from.. the damn beagle in her. Hannah is a beagle/boston mix and she has to be UNDER the covers... no if's ands or butt's... wether it be on the couch on the bed hell even in her kennel she finds a way to get under her blanket.. and i thought she was just weird

OOOHHHH YEAH, mine does the same thing. sleeps under the covers or in between us flat on his back legs sprawled all over. he even goes so far as to give gwen the stink eye in the motorhome if she is in HIS seat! (the passenger seat) oh yeah and he likes beer

  10. hey there 'yall, i'm still having electrical issues with my motorhome! thank god it didn't happen out at dumont last weekend  but i wanna know if any of ya know a good rv mechanic that's knows electrical and won't take me to the cleaners as i have a limited budget :argue: which i know sounds really lame as it's a diesal pusher  which i've herd can be extremely pricey to fix :dope: so any help would be great.

  11. well i'll tell ya that road is a little bit better. probably alot better for trucks but as far as me and my motorhome go it is still TOTALLY  i timed the travel from the guard shack/trailer to the highway and it took 30 minutes!! because anything over 5 mph it wouldn't have stayed together to get to the road! it still needs lots of work and the clock is ticking.... at that rate a busy weekend traffic will be backed up to the road and it'll take an hour or more to get in

  12. it was a great time  i got to meet ogp and ocean03....totallt cool people  weather was nice 'til about 11:30 then it got nice again at like 8:30 :) still not to keen on runnin up the hill at night so i observed at the bottom but it was a total blast gettin used to the 250r 3-wheeler during the day saturday and sunday mornin :laughing:post-1291-1187057415_thumb.jpg maybe i'll meet some more of ya on halloween.

  13. well...it depends how many motor mods are done but if you plan on "general" duneing DO NOT go with padla brats! they are way to thin for duneing! they are designed for racing. i.e. no rocks, sticks, hardpack etc. i would say (and this is my .02) get 21x12x8 7-blade double buff haulers. i'm assuming that you have the std. mods=pipe, reeds, filter? oh and bye the way try and stay with 66-68 roll-out, any lager and it'll be too much tire. i suggest going threw john @ sandtoyz unlimited :flipoff::coocoo: 1-818-500-7263
