  1. Glad to hear that your friends are going to be OK. That is a warning to anybody going to Coral Pink. BE AWARE.. one way its all hills and jumps, and coming back its ALL DROP OFFS. You have to be careful. the way the sand is out there you dont even see them ALLOT of times until it is too late so be carefull going back if your camped at the meadows.

Really glad this is a happy ending, well other than than the lost day or two at Coral. But they will see the handle bars again so all is good!!!

  2. Pete

I called Weekend warrior. They told me that as long as the shop calls and may have to send in pcs of the work to be done etc. They will almost let any shop do warranty work. Just have to get pre-approved before hand.

PM if you are interested or inneed of another shop they gave me. They said thos shop gets haulers in and out same day unless parts are needed.

  3. Hey there Chase

    Ditto to all the above..

remember the good times, and know that she loves you.

This may be hard, but if she was in and out of the hospital for 6 months, she is in a better place. God called her up so she could start her next chapter, as she is a good person.

My prayers are with you and your family

  4. Paul you make it sound like the people that don't want kids would not love them if they had em. That is not the case with me. If I had a kid of course I would love it, but I just choose to not have kids in life is all. It's not that big of a deal, but to some it seems that way. :flipoff:

And yes...I live life to the fullest. I am a firm believer in that. :laughoff:

Pete no that was not my intent. What I am saying is to each his own!

Have kids great. (They can be) dont have kids also great. Hey I didnt have kids until I was almost 40 so I know the other life... It was ALL good then too.

  5. Wow

This thread is black or white

    I was black.. now white

I have a 2 YO boy. Love him like I thoght I would never love anything. I can say that I have friends that have kids, and ones that don't. Each love their life..

Life is what you make of it!!!! Kids or NOT.. Live life to the FULLEST!!!!!!!! I think 99% of DDR peeps do just that.. Or we wouldn't have the toys and life such as we have...

So if you have kids you WILL love them, (or so I hope) if you don't.. Live life to the fullest as we all should.. BE HAPPY in what eva you do..

Ok I am done singing the carpenters song now

  6. That is a GREAT story!!

I have to say that I am hoping that deep down inside MOST people are generally nice.

Here's my story, we were out at lake Mead a few years ago at mid point out of Calleville.

We get ready to leave boat wont start, thinking its a dead battery we hiked to our neigbors camp site about 1/2 mile away accross the cove.

They came over no questions asked. he cant get it started so he gets his buddies boat. Still no go.. I am thiking WTF maybe the starter went out. Long story short rangers NEVER came after caling on there UHF radio many times and they said they would! We had no water, no food etc as it was a day trip and we ate and drank all we had brang.

So these folks give us all the beer, wine coolers we could drink and water. Plus cooked us all (4 of us) a steak, and alll the fixings and then the next morning towed us back into Calleville. That is one heck of a haul esp pulling in a boat.

I tried to give them all the money I had about $50 he would NOT take it no matter what I said or did.

So now I try to help peeps all the time. Towed people out all the time at Dumont, at mission bay etc. and have given people at registers money when they were short. (never over a few $$) so Shannon ROCKS

  7. ah you took the easy way out.. Fork lift GEES

I put a strap around it, got in the roof and pulled it up the front of the TH.. I do have to say I was thinking OK if this drops I guess I am out $650 :D but yes once on the roof it was easy!

    Thanks for everybodies help!

  8. WTF???? no "literature" with those pics???

Not much there on the site

Leave it to the unbelievable imagination of the ROCKETMAN, Ky michaelson, to dream up this latest rocket powered vehicle. Although it's not very hard to believe once you think about all of the other vehicles Ky has rigged a rocket to. The intriguing part about this suped-up radio flyer is that Ky was inspired after staring at a toy sled only a fraction of the size of a real radio flyer.

The rails were manufactured out of aluminum andthe surface area was crafted out of oak planks. But anybody who knows Ky will tell you that he doesn't duplicate anything...he innovates! His version of a radio flyer sled comes complete with custom steering handle bars, a speedometer and a JATO bottle motor mount! Holy ice melt batman! this sled is no JOKER.

Ky and his friend took this baby out for a little Sunday afternoon spin down the sidewalks of his Bloomington, Minnesota neighborhood. The snowbanks on each side of the sidewalk made for a perfect luge run.
