hey guys i was just wondering what people are running at the dunes. i have a 99 WR400f and that thing just gets up and goes. i can beat a few rails up comp (VW's) and every quad thats raced me. i'm looking to buy a new bike and was wondering how the 250f's work in the sand. i plan on getting the wr model with the wider ratio trans but didn't know if i'd be disappointed with only having 250cc under me. thanks

yeah i 4x'd my truck most of the weekend at pismo cause my knee still has alot of fluid in it from the prior weekend. went out to comp and the drags. while i was at dumont new years i got half-way up comp a couple times with full air pressure (didn't have a compressor back at camp). pismo i always air down to about 15 and then just drive to the nearest gas station in town to air back up (about 5 miles)

i'll race ya with my WR400F its betten everything that i've raced as long as it doesn't stand on end off the line. i beat my buddy on his TRX450 and he was allready half-way up the hill

i couldn't find the south pole! i looked at the spot on the map but didn't find it, found the north pole though on sunday and there were quite a few people. who's all going Presidents weekend? we'll have to get together then.

i was on my "bike" yamaha wr400f. i was riding alone trying to find my buddys and he jumped over a dune right next to me. luckily it was him instead of the rail they had jumping! we both were fine just bent his a arms, bumper, and dented the skid plate on my bike

anyone hear or know the guy? he was on a banshee and it was thanksgiving weekend. just wondering if he was on here... not mad or nothin.

no i don't... its all stock, first year they had resivoirs on the shocks. its most likely someone that doesn't ride since they didn't bother with my dads bike, my 3 wheeler, or the set of paddles that were laying right by the side of it.

got it stolen October of 2005... 4 months after i bought it. no insurance, paid cash its yellow with nerf bar/heel guards with red netting. i also put Scott stickers on eack of the front fenders. i'm in central cali... Porterville to be exact. Cops came and got prints off my truck they broke into too but no matchs. thanks guys

bed of my truck... 2 quads (450,250) 3 bikes (2-450s, 125) that was the biggest load i've ever done and didn't even get a pick of it. i put the 450 quad standing up against the cab, the 250 behind it on all fours, then the 2 450 bikes on either side eith the 125 laying between the two quads.

i got my wheel with sprocket and disc for $350 from Warp9 on ebay. brand new. i think you can get it with paddle for $400. i'll try and find a link for ya.
