  1. Congratulations! Can't be a better feeling than seeing something that you thought you had lost forever coming toward you. I am very happy for you.

    Terry

My dad said the same thing you did, that you have to be realistic with coyotes being around. Tim said he was glad he went instantly, there were still people out, today he may not have been so lucky to find her.

  2. I have been sad since she went missing, he got hurt on a witches eye on comp, took a nap when he looked pregnant later and the bruise grew. Fireworks went off, she had ran. They took him to the BLM or Sheriff yesterday and they said I would put you in an ambulance right now, but go to the hospital. No internal, but he wanted his pup. Wasn't his weekend, but he has something to smile about. Yay!

  3. Ok so he went back twice today, tonight was going to stay behind vendor row and still look...he saw something moving, it was her, and she ran, but he started his truck and she headed towards him. She has a can of food, was wet, probably from the river, but yay yay yay...he is on cloud 9. Thanks to you all...not sure if maybe the found one was a dog missing from the small dunes?

  4. My suggestion would be go back out tomorrow and take a squeaky toy and drive around the river, canyons and flats. You might get lucky as we have seen it happen before. Don't wait there are coyotes and other predators in the area and sooner or later unless someone has grabbed him up you will lose him. Not meaning to be cruel I would be totally freaked if either one of my dogs were lost but facts are facts. Best of luck.

He actually was going out today, so I keep praying for good news. She is 10, and I wished she would have not ran from them when they saw her...just keep hoping and hoping. Thank you!!

  5. The weather was great, camp was fun, lots of friends and good times.

Sunday was long, I raced in the sand drags, and got a couple trophies...that was cool, it had been years. Didn't have to go fast, but ended up beating someone in the first one. The jeep ran great.

I took my 70 to ride back and forth where we were parked and the jeep was...people almost ran me over and some girl just totally cut in front of me when I was trying to cross traffic. Not very nice. Got some laughs though that I was riding on it anyways.

Yesterday we sat in the shade just hanging out laughing, then finally packed up to head home. Got home around 7:30 and played trailer ballet with 3 trailers, then BED TIME!

I had so much fun though. Lots of laughter and lots of smiles. Good to hang out at other camps and chat it up with people.

  6. Hey ! That was my son and I. The Quads are Gsxr1000/DS650 conversions, We were testing a new NOS bike and tires. We have a friendly Grudge race with Turbo Bruce Presidents weekend.

Mike in the "TRICK" car stopped by and said hi. Sorry Mike we didn't hook up with ya for that dune ride. Kurt made 25 plus passes and could only take a short dune ride with the ol'man..lol He said his arms felt like Popeye arms!!lol..lol... He just couldn't hang on anymore,,lol

GREAT to see the TRICK car is no longer for sale :MBdance:

Hope to see ya all Presidents!!!!

Awesome, yeah we were the Rzr and quads that came up the hill when you had the speed gun out...yeah you guys were hauling!!

  7. Thanks JR good seeing ya out there. Was going going to have you and your lady meet my wife. She is a chilanga from DE EFE. and swears she has never seen any mexicans out at Dumont. Unless you are Latino and from South America. Next time we will hook up.

That is my mexican in the white and black about to race...lol. My friend got about two hundred pics...I will post more tomorrow.

  8. The Regatta ruled!! From running around chatting it up with people, to watching the races...it was so much fun!

I met lots of new people and laughed my butt off most of the time.

Me and my friend Christina went on a night ride Sat. night, my first night ride that far out in the dunes, then just chilled and bs'd at the South Pole.

Went on a fast Rzr ride Sunday after the parachute shenanigans, I got pics, but my camera died! That almost had me crying. I wanted to try it, but I got told no...lol. Even funnier when they tied it on the Rzr and he almost came off the ground, and he couldn't turn around to come back to camp.

It really was such a great weekend. I hope to have that much fun in 2 weeks!

  9. Well we had fun, sorry to hear about any injuries.

-The mud was calling lots of names all weekend, but I was trying to be really good cause of all the people around.

-Monday Tina mentioned mud, I said ok, and away we went...we came up to see you Bert...and Jim got pictures of us. Donut ballets were a blast!

-Then the puddle called our names...oops. I had mud everywhere, thought I might get banned to the outside shower, but after a little drying and thought, I was able to keep the mess outside.

-The weather was perfect, even with the rain.

    -Went on some awesome rides.

-Our campfire had lots of laughs, but there was really no content...just one person laughing at another, another laughing harder, and another snorting...and my stomach still hurts from it all.

    -I remembered my clothes!

-Had some truck problems on the way up, but things were all good on the way home until a trailer had a bowling ball on the sidewall of the tire. Quick change and some more laughter...away we went.

-It was good to travel camps at night, and get to say hi to other DDR folks! That was the dry night though...lol. After that you take the quads...I made my friend scream when she thought I was going to pop a wheelie. *evil laugh* So I threw mud instead.

-Playing Wii while cooking bacon for breakfast = sore arm. When drinking, it causes people to almost get wacked for getting too close...lol. Have to love the bowling and baseball practice!

-All of the Air Force guys leave next weekfor training, then Iraq, so it was nice to have some fun with them beforehand.

I just had so much fun...can't wait to go out again!

  10. We went riding there all my life, with the jeep and recently the quads. When my dad told me they won't let you do that anymore I was so mad. They will get you or BLM will. In the "Henderson Proper" as my dad said.
