A season ago I was camped near some folks that had a low level light on thier sattelite dishes.. almost like an LED? Does anyone know anything about these? they where blue mostly...didnt ask them about them, but now I want one! Cant seem to find any info! I turning to the brilliant minds here for help

I was sittin with a pretty technical older guy new years weekend at Dumont and we started talkin batteries and stuff and discussing 6 volt versus 12 and all the other things electrical. He mentioned he replaced all interior lights with LEDS! Even the outside floods on the toy hauler.....they are said to use 90 percent less power! In other words run all your lights all evening with no generator!...they worked great as far as I could see! anyone else have any experience with LED lighting?

I have a direct tv reciever ready to go and need an antenna ....any advice for the toyhauler? cant afford the autosearch in motion types.. I have used the tripod mounted one in the past and hate it.. anyone using the roof mounted crank up type? anyone using digital magic?

You more than likely did not know him but we did in our town of Fullerton Ca. Fred was that guy that was cool as hell and he'll be missed. He definetly died doing what loved to do and if he wasnt going fast then the motor was off. We are so happy the other person is O.K. not to start any war of words but last time we went out I parked so far away off to the farthest right side....and boy I gotta tell ya...even though we had to travel a little to get to the dunes...it was so peacefull! slept like a baby! no dust, I could barely hear any motors at night...just my two cents... forget the fingers its like a mosh pit! a lot of land out there...

hmmm I'm torn on this one...I like some laws and others are kinda scary... A better approach is to have some friendly rangers come by and educate kids rather than lookin to screw some parents...

Take a pink jeep tour..better yet there is a guide that uses toyota land cruisers thats gets a little more offroad....be a tourist you wont be disapointed.
