TRUCK IS VERY TALL..... KIND OF A PAIN not to mention full of fire wood :poop: By the way Mark
The few times we rented a TH we had to load one bike in the truck. Loading into a tall truck even with long ramps is no fun. Then unhooking the TH to unload... :porn:
but hey, it's a few minutes of for a weekend at the dunes!!
How'd it work out???

Red Rock Canyon area has some nice trails. Charleston between the 215 and the entrance to the loop. I haven't been in a couple years, so i dont know if they've developed since, but there was a good mix of trails (jeep roads) and 4x4 only areas. Some good 4x4 trails in the loop as well.
Henderson has miles of off road trails/roads, but most are closed to off roading so you take the chance of getting ticketed for being out there.
nice manx btw :freakin_nuts:

I watched a show on ( think it was SPEED channel) called Dangerous Rides. They rode along with the Boarder Patrol at the dunes. One of the areas was a section of tunnel where they used a RZR. interesting to watch.
Cool Video! What are the zip ties by the front bumper for?

Racin Dirty is in the process of making them. They should be ready and for sale at the 70 regatta, but we should also have some available for sale online after that.
Hats for sale on line yet?.... :hatdance:

Before they put the concrete across the road at the river/creek/wash crossing it flooded the crossing pretty bad. I dont know how it is since the concrete was added, but that was the only area of the entrance road that was affected by the rains that i remember.

I have an 89 banshee since it was new , Had it gone through about 7 years ago by a pretty repital company.
Well now I have a problem , when I engage it into gear it still rolls like it is in nuetral , I have changed the clutch and it still does the samething , tore it down again split the case all the gear cluster seems to be working ,no metal shavings in the oil or case ,shift forks are still in tack, put it back together and still the same thing is happening. Does anyone have any idea what I should look for next ,besides taking it back to another machanic first. kinda of on a budget want to get it going correctly and then I will most likely sell it since I dont ride it that often . Thanks for your Help . Jamees
Sounds like something might have gotten wedged in behind the clutch, or in the clutch pack itself and is preventing it from engaging. I'd pull the clutch pack apart an start there. Make sure that little steel ball isnt welded to the rod, and all the spring screws are tight.
Is your cable adjusted correctly? Line the arrow on the case with the arrow on the clutch arm. > <
Have you tried putting it in gear with out using the clutch while the bike is running?
What does it do when you put it in gear with out the bike running and try to push it? Will it roll like its in neutral or lock up like its in gear?

I bought a 08 as well. So you recommend shutting off the gas n clearing the carb when not in use. Have it like that every day? Sorry I'm just new to maintaining a quad lol.
What he probably means is before loading it on to the trailer/toy hauler, or if its going to be sitting for a while is drain the carb float bowl. All you have to do for that is, while the bike is running turn the gas off and let it idle till it shuts off. (or)
Some carbs have a screw on the bottom of the carb that you can take out to let the gas drain. <bike and gas turned off if doing it that way.

Great weekend. My quad didnt leave the back of the truck all weekend. Burned a lotta fuel in the rzr though...Almost missed the meet n greet cause of a bad tire valve. Glad i brought the spare parts bin. It was good to finally meet up and put faces to the names.
Thanks to Blue Steel, Big Dave, OGP, and the 4 seat rzr crew for a fun ride afterwards. I think it might be time to upgrade to an "S"...or at least paddles for now...
For anyone that questioned the ability of the 4 seat rzr in the dunes the proof is in the video...
