  1. Took a little ride Christmas day..... Suction cup fail....Must not have licked it well enough....

I moved the suction cup from where i had it last time, but it still sounds like a pissed off weed wacker. gonna try one of the flat 3M mounts with the orange thingy(supposed to stop vibration) next time.

Any suggestions on video editing software?

  2. ^ agreed. handling should always be the starting point. that could mean more than shocks, etc.

steering stabilizer to reduce bump steer and improve steering.

    anti-vibe stem helps.

pro-taper or flexx bars improve ride comfort.

^^ nailed it...Nothing kills a good ride more then being fatigued half way through it....

Junkie pretty much covered all the bases...stem,bars,stabilizer,suspension....

Before you toss a couple grand at a set of shocks and a-arms tough, try dialing in what you have. It's a free "up grade". Stock shocks on newer bikes are way more adjustable then they were years ago. If you can't get them dialed in to your liking, you can do like junkie also said, and get em resprung/valved.

    :beercheers:

  3. Of course this type of thing all ways happen at the holidays. :beercheers: So I guess I get a new TV for Christmas.

    I wanted new plastics, :laughoff:

I have know idea what kind to buy. It can be no large then 26 inches or it won't fit in my entertainment center. Don't have alot of money to spend so it needs to be reasonably priced. Any suggestions.

I Picked up a 32" Emerson for a little over 300 the other day at walmart. Lots of 26" in the low 200's there.

  4. Tried out the GoPro HD this past weekend. This video is 960p. There’s 3 HD, 1 NonHD Settings. 1080 resolution has a narrower 127 degree view compared to the 170 degree of the other settings. ( I remember someone asking in another post about a non wide. Haven’t tried that setting yet ). Sorry Audio is bad. The mount was vibrating on the cage. Gonna have to DL and learn how to use editing software. :bert:

  5. I am using the suction cup to my dash board. Did you use the little orange thing it comes with? Post some video up so that we can all see its glory

I didnt. I tore through the packaging like an idiot, mounted it and took off.. I'm not even sure what that orange thingy is for...

I'll post the vid hopefully this evening.

  6. What attachment are you using to hold it in place??

I had a chance to try out the HD last weekend and used the suction cup. I was really impressed at how well it stayed in place, but the only flat spot on the rzr's dash was next to the roll bar so all you hear through the video is the vibration of the mount on the bar... the HD video is awsome by the way, you wont be disappointed.

  17. what is the deal with the warranty.... People tell me that a programmer will void a warranty.... The websites that i have visited all say that it is illegal for a dealership to not cover a claim because of after-market additions.... who has facts???

A programmer will void your engine warranty. Dealers can not void the warranty "just because" though. The aftermarket part has to have direct affect on the problem.

Most programmers are detectable, so even if you put your settings back to stock before you bring it in for work the dealer will be able to detect that you have had something...

Ask Craig about the argument over a tranny with Dodge lol... any reason .. even if they did the work on it sense new

I'm interested in that story...... :bert:
