  1. hey i am new to the atv scen i have a banshee what kind of motor up grade would anyone recomend its has t5's ,cool head ,k&n what bang for the buck. THANKS

If I were starting all over, i'd dial in the suspension before i did any motor mods.... A good set of A-Arms, shocks, and axle....

Can't go fast if you cant control the bike.... just my 2 cents... :banghead::censored:

  2. Not sure if I can swing this trip yet, but just curious who else is going out that weekend?

Oh and don't forget, MLK weekend is now a holiday surcharge weekend. ;)

    I'll be there...

I was there for New Years weekend on my way to the meet & greet when the stator crapped out on the bike.

Will there be a meet and greet MLK weekend?

  3. It seems to be the same as the Banshee's. I think they just hook into the TORS. Hoping somebody here knew before i had to call the dudes at the dealer. They arent so versed sometimes

IF its the same as the Banshee, then yeah all you have to do is unplug it (no splicing required)

  4. Is it going to be in the way? Why get rid of it?

On the Banshee (at least the older ones) It's like a one piece unit that combines the clutch and parking brake. If you change out the clutch lever to an easy pull lever system, it usually comes with its own perch (Like the ASV he's going to be using) so the e-brake must be removed as well.

Some just like the cleaner look with out it... :DDRrocks:

  5. So who else is planning on meeting up Saturday? :D:headbang1:

    Hey all!

Fairly new here, wanted to stop in and make the offcial greeting... :headbang1:

I will be out there with a friend on Saturday (day trip) and would like to meet up and possibly go on a ride or two...

Any first timer meet and greet rules i should know about??.. tips or tricks, and who not to let stand behind me?? :headbang1:

I'll bring wine coolers and ZIMA :headbang1:

great site, hope to stop in a lot more! :beer_bang: <thats just funny sh......

  6. Going with an ASV perch and dumping the stock e-brake. Do I need to splice any of the wiring coming from the stock perch?

If its the same set up as the Banshee all you should need to do is follow the wires down from the perch and unplug them. Thats for the banshee though so the 450 might be different. :offtopic:

IF no one heres has more info for ya, try this site.

  8. I was down at Yamaha on Boulder Hwy to drop off the GF's Rhino yesterday and while there i was looking at one they had all done up. When i asked how much i was told that if i was looking to buy one i should hold off because they will be getting 700 EFI Rhino's next month.......???

Anyone else hear that the 08's are going to be EFI, or have i been living under a rock for the last year???

oh by the way, my name is Chris, i'm new to the site, and i'm addicted to sand...
