I was just talking to someone about this at lunch. I told her the story about losing my dog and she told me about this chip thing. I have honestly never thought about it before because during the day we always have the dog on a chain, but at night once all the kids go to bed the dog just lays by our feet at the camp fire. He has been camping with us ever since he was a puppy. He has never left our side and then of course the one time he does he didnt have his name tag on. (It fell off like 2 days before we left for Dumont and i forgot to put it back on). I was lucky enough to have someone find him and return him. But i am giving it some serious thought about doing this just as another percaution. To the other people who have lost their dogs i hope you get them back soon, i know how you feel and it is awful!

I am very sorry to hear what happened. We actually found out Saturday night while we were trick or treating with the kids that the people involved were camped right next to us like 20 feet away. My husband saw the accident aftermath and noticed a white Rhino at the scene and when we walked into the camp next to us with the kids he noticed the same Rhino parked in their camp. He asked the guy about it and the guy explained what happened. It is so sad and my heart goes out to the family and friends, i couldnt imagine what it must be like. I would also like to contribute to the family once something is set up.

Saturday night my dog dedcided to go for a walk and got lost. (It is very unusual for him to leave our side at night) We were out looking for him until 3am. I was so upset that we had to go to bed knowing he was lost. And I knew my daughters heart would be broken (It is her dog). In the morning my Sister in law & Brother in law took my rhino and went out looking for him and had no luck, I was so afraid we were going to have to leave without him. So I decided to go out and look for him so my sister in law went with me. We went up to everyones camp that were any where near ours. Then I told her lets go check with the Rangers and I will leave my cell phone # with them. We were almost there and I looked over and my brother in law came up on us on his quad and said that Blue was back. I asked what happened and he said this really nice couple said they went out side to go on a ride in their rhino and my dog was sitting in the passenger seat. She said he jumped down and when she sat down he jumped back on into her lap. So they were on their way to the ranger station and a girl from my camp noticed them and flagged them down!! So I thought I would post this thinking maybe if these people come on here, I could tell then THANK YOU! I never got to meet them, they were gone by the time I got back. It is nice to know that someone was willing to do what they could. And by the way my dog LOVES to go for rides in the rhino. He sits in the back seat between my 2 daughters everywhere we go. So if you read this THANK YOU so much. I would have had an 8yr old little girl with a broken heart!

A guy from my work did it, he has his own shop. He is going to be building them for a couple of my friends. I havent seen a roll cage like it yet. It is actually rated for 100mph, which i know the rhino would never go that fast but at least i know my kids are safe! Let me know if you or someone you know wants more info, i am sure he wouldnt mind the extra business. (he does them on the side).

I just found out last night that the stolen bike was my brother-in-law's buddy, he did get it back. So thanks for all your help, im sure he appreciates it.

I just ordered the green 660 from Jorgenson's Honda in Richfield Utah (he sells every brand not just honda) and my out the door price was $9,300. My brother bought one in January and my friend has done a lot of business with this guy. His # is 435-896-6408 you can talk to Mike or Dennis. Im not sure exactly how much the camo one is but i know that he said those are back ordered until July or something.

I have 2 kids under 8 that ride everytime we go out, they are NOT allowed to play on the dunes if they want to dig or run around they can do that within our circle where they are safe. It drives me crazy seeing little kids sitting on the sides of the dunes playing, i wonder what their parents are thinking. And not to be rude but if you are that worried about your rig & rail maybe you shouldnt park so close to the dunes. It is not fair to other dunners to have to go thru a detour of flags and caution tape. We have been out many times and never had a problem with rocks, etc. hitting our stuff. Presidents day we got out early enough to where we should have gotten a really good spot, BUT people had huge areas taped off to where we had to pretty much camp out in the "driving" area in the fingers. And if you want your kids to be safe why not have them ride around your camp (on the outside of the circle until people from your camp go on a "real" ride) that is what we do and we know the kids are as safe as they can be. No matter what there will be accidents here and there, and hopefully no one gets hurt. (This isnt towards anyone in particular just stating my .02) This is just one of my pet peves.

We were ready to buy one then we decided to sell our house and buy a new one, so we have to wait until that process is done. Anyone looking to buy a house?? I got one for sale! lol :yeah_whatever:
