  1. ^^ Thats what I heard also. I have a TON of pictures but I am too lazy to upload it. I have it under my albums on my myspace. Comp hill was a NIGHTMARE!!! I was trying to race people but because of the whoops were so bad, I had to turn around half way. I was bouncing all over the place. However, the part that everyone was racing at that was on the front by the camps was a awesome place. No whoops and it was smooth. The rain wasn't too bad besides the fact that it was hard to follow some friends at night time. Plus I was soaked in wet riding so I was hoping that I wouldn't get sick. Sunday morning we went over to little dumont to do some jumping and stopped by the mining area since some friends wanted to see it. Other than that it was a pretty good weekend at Dumont. Not as many people compared to 2 years ago but atleast a decent amount. Sucks I have to work today. I'm sore!!
  2. A bunch of us are going. Some of our friends are leaving tomorrow but we're leaving friday. I'm getting so excited that Imma pee my pants!! Hahaha.. There's going to be a lot of my friends going and hopefully they'll wont be any drama. Also my friend Paula and Elliott are going to be out there. The chick that shattered he leg at Coral Pink. She's getting around on crutches but she's still going to be in the rhino.
  3. Congrats!! My fiance and I have been trying for a little duner for quite sometime now as well. But I'll be a emotional wreak since I wont be able to ride or anything. But after 9 months and after labor I'll know it'll be my worth while. Hahaha I told him that when I get pregnant, He can't ride if I can't ride. I know that's torture! Let us know if it's a girl or boy!!
  4. So it was a Ranger that rolled over? Damn.. Seems like alot of people are getting hurt from those 2by2's now. Condolences to his family and friends.
  5. ^^^ What they said.. I've only been to the North Pole... I had no idea there was even a south pole. Lol. I'm game in meet up there at 2pm on Saturday. But someone give us directions please!!!
  6. My blaster has twist throttle so I kinda miss it. I heard the spring for the twist/thumb throttle piece can be quite hard. Hrmmm.. I guess I'm just gonna go with the motion pro twist.
  7. I am.. but it's all torn apart. It's not a complete motor though. I was going to put it in my blaster and make it a drag bike that looks like frankenstein. But turns out I can only afford 1 bike at a time.
  8. I've been riding for about almost 4 years now, so long dune rides doesn't kill me. I don't really hold on for dear life. Lol.. I just have really small hands (My gloves are size medium for youth). I don't mind taking apart my bike since I'm a DIY type person. I've already taken the thing half apart before. I was also looking at the dual gasser as well. I was going to buy it from Parts Direct but then I found out they're no longer in business. So I guess the next question would be.. Alba or Moose dual gasser?? Does anyone have it?? Or good is it? Is the thumb throttle stiff?? Hows the response time with the twist? Halloween is around the corner!!!
  9. I'm confused by the two. A couple of my friends that have LTR450's recommend the streamline. I don't care about the pricing, I just care about the longevity of the product and throttle response. I rode my LTR at Amargossa today for a long period of time and my thumb started to cramp up (I know call the waaaaambulance). I've always been used to my blaster with the twist throttle (it used to have a thumb) and I got so used to it. Grated, when I had my blaster I wasn't plan on doing jumps or wheelies but now I feel like I am stuck. I like to drag race up comp and ride around for long periods of time so which one would be best for me? I'm still keeping the thumb though just in case I feel the need to do jumps or try to wheelie. I'll just have to keep it in my gear bag so I can switch it out whenever. Please let me know what you guys think. I'm making the order in the next couple of days so it'll give me time to install it for dumont.
  10. My blaster has a twist throttle and I love it. But I recently got a LTR450 and haven't had a chance to change it to twist yet. Twist if you just like to cruise around for long periods of time or drag racing up comp. I have small hands and wrist and after riding for 20 mins my hand cramps up. Thumb throttle if you plan on doing jumps or wheelies. I do small jumps and I find that the thumb throttle is ALOT safer. Especially when you go over the whoops really fast it doesn't effect your throttle. I'm keeping my thumb throttle with me at all times but most likely I'll be ordering a twist throttle before dumont. If I feel that I need to do something crazy I'll just do the initial swap at dumont.
  11. I also have a banshee rear axle that I was trying to sell with the quad. Doesn't look like anyone is going to buy the bike. Soooo.. I'll sell you the rear axle if you want. Shoot me a offer. I also have A BUNCH of banshee parts like the motor, radiator, front bumper, etc. LMK.
  12. Hahahaha 2wd Chevy FTL... Love this picture. Kayla, What are you talking about?? There was no drama. Heard you were a little mad because you couldn't go. Everyone's fine even after the accident. No one was mad at anyone. We were all there to have a good time. And yes, Kayla knows that "group".. They're kids/teenagers/pre-teens.. They're going to do stupid and crazy things. Anyways, Here's some more pictures to add.
  13. Actually, I brought back the whole keg. I returned it this morning to Lee's discount liquor and complained saying there was too much foam. The gave me a full refund. =) Yes, My friends have the black 2 fittys. I didn't think they were crop dusting anyone really. The guy behind us was pissed off because my friend Paula's boyfriend (The girl with the broken leg) his dog bit their small dog at their camp. Doesn't matter if I am going to change your mind or not. I really don't care. Everyone has their own opinions about the whole situation. You can think what you want and I know what I know. About people saying that we were kicking up dust and stuff. We were parked to the right of the entrance to the dunes. We get all kinds of dust. Also, the guy parked behind us kept having his friends ride through our camp. Do you hear me complaining about?? No, it's apart of camping and having fun. I can careless if you haul a$$ pass me and throw mud at me. I honestly would think it's funny. But hey, Sorry for dusting your dinner.
  14. The rhino that tipped was at coral pink for only 3 hours before that happend. And my other friends rhino was pretty much at our camp the whole time. Other people were taking their rhino out as well so I dunno if it was someone else or not. Apologies accepted... I was just getting aggervated from everyones story this weekend. I over heard a bunch of people saying that my friends deserve what they got for having fun in the mud. Wait until something like that happening to yourself or someone you know or someone close to you. There were a few people that actually stopped by our camp to ask how my friends were doing the next day. I picked Ashley up from. Kanab hospital that night and she only has bruising from the seat belt. By the way, driving from kanab back to coral pink at 10pm sucks... so dark.. Almost got lost.. And I was worried about hitting some bulls.
