Should be an awesome show. I took my daughter to the Key Club to see 311 for a welcome back gift. We both enjoyed it to the max. I've seen Pepper three times at various shows around SoCal and they rock! Nice set of Lesbians they have getting to know eachother on stage also. They played with Kottonmouth Kings first time I caught them and I was very surprised.

KK, 311, Cracker, Cake, Pepper, and LBDA would be a nice mellow "laid back" show!

Sig Sauer P220 .45 with a nice little collection of 230gr Federal Hydroshock for that occasional Thug or Meth Head that may initially think that my family or belongings are easy pickings.

Colt 1991A1 .45 Compact Commander. Couple of rifles and shotguns in 22 caliber and 12 guage.

Ash, that's a very nice collection that you've started there. I particularly like that 308. Same thing I won a few 1000yd Matches with during my tours on the US Marine Corps Rifle Team. Not alot of rounds down range since my retiremnet in 03 but I get out to do the occasional plinking in the desert and at the rec range aboard the base here in 29.

That rifle of yours might come in handy while the North Pole is being desecrated.

How bout "United we SAND"?

I was leaning towards the Team Dumont thing but that's kind of already covered with DumontDuneRiders. The United We Sand is Patriotic and also states our "unity", duh, for all things Dumont, such as the Poles, the clean up, the dune ettequite, etc...

SLC, That's some nice looking Pigs gathered 'round that pole!

Next time we'll do some heavy duty rides, not quite DDR/Metal Mulisha style, but something that will work up a sweat in us older folks without requiring pain killers for the three days following.

Don't tell me you were there Sunday and I left without my Pig! :shocked2: That wind that came in around 1030 just sucked. We were planning on riding til dark and then head home and watch the taped Superbowl. Well, with the winds, we loaded up and headed South. Got home in plenty of time for a long hot shower and a big Crown and Coke, then headed for the LazyBoy.

Easy now Nate. All RedNecks aren't bad people! I can attest to that! I respect everybody elses property, as do most RedNecks. I think out West here there is some confusion between White Trash and RedNeck. RedNecks are hard working, Blue Collar, God fearing, family oriented, respectful, and decent folks who like to live off of the land, are conservationist but not tree huggers, enjoy hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, and yes, even dunning. They don't particularly care for idiots regardless of race, color, religion, creed, or gender.

White Trash on the other hand... do things like trash our dunes and shoot up mailboxes. :tres hermanos_rock_smiley:

Anyway, had a good time with you guys and wish you would have gone on the DDR ride. It was something else. I think I'll head down to the Metal Mulisha compund and get some practice in for the next DDR excursion through the dunes.

It was good to finally meet up with you guys and gals. If the DDR camp is anything like that Sat. ride I'm not sure my old a$$ could hang! We'll see though. Had a group of DS guys come down from SLC for their first ever Dumont trip so we hung with them and didn't make the movie.

Sheer intensity is all I can say about the South Pole/North Pole ride. Looking forward to more. Once I have my knees replaced!!!

hey, does anyone have kids in this group that ride? i have a 13 yr old son that rides with me, but might leave him home if no one else is bringing kids?

Nope! Tomorrow. Well, and Super Bowl Weekend, and Presidaents Day! I'll be there for all of them but PresDay is going to be tough. That's the opening weekend for REAL sports. The Daytona 500...

Guess that's why they make VCR's. I'll be out there. watch it when I get home, just like the Flopper Bowl. Never as good as the playoffs, plus the Raiders ain't in it so oh well.

4 Stroke Wars at Glamis that weekend. A ton of DS650 guys are going to be there to kick it and take names. I'll meet up with all of you fine folks eventually, I didn't buy the season pass for nothing.

Gotta be Crown, although JD Single Barrel is not half bad. If you can get the 100Proof SoCo, not the 80 or 84Proof syrup, it's pretty smooth melting the rocks.

My youngest boy and I will be going out for a few days. Missed last weekend, but Christmas Break starts Friday so we're heading up then. Hope the sand is nice and smooth.

Crap. I can't make it guys. My boy has a deep thigh contusion from flying over the handlebars and just getting off of the crutches doesn't feel strong enough for a weekend at the dunes.

And I got a phone call this morning from a nephew I haven't seen in three years and just got stationed in San Diego this week and is coming up tonight. Gotta treat him right.

School breaks Friday the 16th so we are without fail coming up for four or five days the first week of Christmas break and then probably right before New Years.
