Just want to put the word out there for anyone thinking of purchaseing a Pro Shark kids ATV. They are made buy APEX Motor Corp. They are distributed by EASTSIDE MOTORSPORTS AKA WESTSIDE ATVS out of Mesa AZ. I actually ordered mine before they had a dealer in town and it was shipped directly from them.

I ordered it from a guy named Greg he discussed with me how much better of a machine this was than the Polaris or the Kasea. He assured me that it was a great quad and they have had very few problems with these . He also assured me that they would have a dealer in town soon in case any problems came up. He was supposed to let me know where and when after I bought it. He never let me know.

Well I bought the quad and the first time I took it out with my son it overheated within 20 miniutes. I called them and was told yeah they do that we have a new radiator cap we will send you and then buy some more coolant and it should be fine. I didnt over heat the second time we took it out. What it did do is performed poorly, it was very sluggish and had a kind of knock in the engine. I called and discussed this and was told it was normal I may want to adjust the carb a little. So i figured that was how it ran. Didn't ride during the summer here in vegas too hot. Took the quad out for T day and it ran poorly again, oil leaking from exhaust. Ok exhaust gasket right? Wrong, found a dealer here in town FTM on decatur I took the exhaust off to get a new gasket and found when it was put together they stripped the bolt hole in the head. Called again they agreed to have FTM look at it when he told them what he found they said No we are not covering that it looks like someone put a different bolt in there. STAIGHT FROM THE FACTORY IT WAS THIS WAY. I explained this to them and they said no.

Now I have to pay $150.00 to have my quad fixed, so that it will run like it was supposed to when I bought it. :freakin_nuts:

JUST REAL BAD BUSINESS IF YOU ASK ME IT WOULD COST THEM 50 TO 100 BUCKS TO FIX IT. NOW I WILL JUST TELL EVERONE I KNOW NOT TO BUY THEY'RE PRODUCT.

When I bought my trailer last year, the fuel station pump worked when I left the lot and when I got to Utah for some trail riding, it stopped working. I checked everything, it had power, no blown fuses, nothing. I took it Johnnie Walker to get it fixed, they put a new one on and pumped about five gallons through it with no problems. Ten minutes later, I go to hook it up and just thought I better check it again. Nothing! same symptoms as before, had power but wouldn't pump. I went back in a through a fit with the service writer, they went back out and put a third one on. Fired right up, pumped five gallons through it again, no problems. So I went back to get it hooked up again, and did the pump test agian right before I hooked it up and NOTHING! this time I went in to the main office and politely asked for the manager, got one of the Walker sons, and ripped him a new A hole. I sat in his office and asked why I just paid 26K for a trailer that couldn't pump 5 gallons of gas without burning up a pump. he immediately called up the makers of the Attitude trailer I bought, and finally got to the bottom of it. The manufacturer that made the pumps for them had recently changed plastic manufacturers, and the plastic gears inside the pumps, when they would get gas on them, would swell up, bind the gears, and burn the motors out. They said this was the 20th or so trailer that has had problems in the last week and they were working on it. They told Mr. Walker that they could get me a new pump in a couple of weeks when they got there new batch in and that was it. I was like, F that, I am going to the dunes tomorrow so either you get me a pump that works or you will get a new trailer. Mr. Walker then put me on the phone with the VP of sales at Attitude, and I proceeded to tell him what I thought. He was not amused by my antics, but promised me it would be taken care of. Yeah right!

Instead of waiting for a new pump, the GREAT staff at Johnnie Walker pulled a brand new unit off of another brand of Toy Hauler with no known problems, and retrofitted it to my trailer. This pump has served me well. Mr. Walker, instead of having me walk out the door empty handed, wrote me a check for $100.00 for my troubles and wasted fuel for bringing my trailer back so many times for the same problem, and told me if I had anymore problems to let him know personally. My hats off to Johnnie Walker R.V. for solving a problem in less than one day that a multi-millionn dollar RV company couldn't for two weeks.

As for the hijack topic Eclipse RV (attitude) is not into spending a dime on fixing things unless you really are up their A$$. Nice trailers not so nice customer service.

Hey RRC you might want to remane this thread to bad fuel pumps and start a new one for you new hauler. Its a sweet looking trailer. congratulations.

Be there the 3rd and 4th too..

Personaly I have a 21' salem that my son in law tried to hook up on and tow witha 1/2 ton Chevy. I wouldn't have wanted to be in that ride. Maybe your dad should call Johnny walker and see what kind of deal he can work with them to make it easier? And lastly don't believe everything you read about certain dealers and what they will do and won't do. That post was started by someone who had a problem 10 days before the first trip they had planned and wanted the dealer to put it ahead of their customers to get it fixed. Go back and re read that post and I think you will see that.

Johnny Walker has been good to me...however I bought from them.

There may have been some underlying issues in the story about working on the guys RV. However I was told specifically by a MGR not mentioning any names, that they WILL NOT work on other RVs due to the fact that they put they're customers first. Now that may mean that they would work on a unit purchased from another dealer, but they are so busy with the ones they have sold that they dont have time to get to others, or they just wont do it??? I am not saying anything bad about JWRV, I purchased my TH from them and they have been awsome to me, and I have had some serious problems with my trailer. They have always done they're best to help me and take care of any problems I have had... I would purchase from them again without a doubt.. Also it is very nice if you have a problem (and you will no matter what brand you buy) only having to go down the street to get it serviced.

Did you check the fan switch to make sure it didn't get switched from auto to on? Wife diid that in the M/H last weekend and it took me awhile to figure why cool air was blowing with the unit shut down

yeah did check that. no luck. Joe duner willsend someone out tommarow to check it out. Hope its not to much$$$ that could be detrimental to the t day trip.

actually a 2lb helmet killed a dune rider in big bowl about 4 years ago he landed his jump but the whip lash snapped his neck. he jumped into big bowl. I m not saying anything pro or con just kind of wierd incident.

im glad the guy is ok it could happen to anyone . there was a guy named chilidog man he lives in orange county. they were loading up to go home he was pulling his rail around to load it in the trailer. no seatbelt did hotrodding or whatever and was killed . Wife kids succesfull bussiness gone...........

every ride should be treated the same safley as possible.

and lastly you cannot get 70 mph out of 2nd gear in a sand car, but im sure whatever speed it was. was to fast.

thats why nascar introduced the neck piece they wear now my son uses somthing very similar when he rides his dirt bike it ties to his chest protector

Well we all know "The human head weighs eight pounds" you add an extra two to that and who knows. what could happen. But I agree if helmet weight would cause an increase in spinal and neck injuries I doubt they would be as important as they are. Very extensive and scientific testing goes into helmet mfg.

I know someone on here has a AC/heating buisiness Ive seen the advertisement on the bottom of their posts. Just not jure who. Anyway if anyone can help, My home AC/heat is staying on. The fan will not shut off even though the thermostat is on. I have had this before but I dont remember the problem. I even unhooked the thermostat and the fan still keeps running. the heat and air come on and off but the fan stays on so im assuming the thermostat is not the problem Any help??? need to fix it before it turns to the in here. The baby will be

Like I said already the bars are not going to go out of business :no_no: . People are not going to drive to the strip as opposed to the corner bar to gamble now cause they cant smoke. They are going to gamble take a break and smoke then continue to put all they're hard earned money back into the machine just like they always do, SH*t this may even save some people some money .

IT is just going to take time to adjust, then all the bar owners will quit crying and figure out a way to make it work. Smoke out side, Your sh*t stinks and Its time smokers get what they have coming to them for being so DAMN selfish and inconciderate all these years . If the bars choose to take away the food like some of you said so what "they dont make any money on the food anyway" right. At least then us non smokers can go to a public place, whether it be a resturant or a bar with food and not have to gasp for clean air.

So I went to that place dunefreak told me about and they want $350 per day for jrenting a rhino and $275 per day for a 450. I almost laughted at the lady, I couldn't believe what she was telling me. Completley overpriced. I can go rent an SUV w/ 4wheel drive for 3 days for less.

I have tried to do business with that place on a couple occasions, I finally gave up. I think all of their bikes, quads and others have like 14K gold postons or something, He's proud of what he sells and rents, alittle too proud

THIS IS AWSOME THAT Q 5 PASSED!!!! The bottom line is that the majority of the public does not smoke. Smoking is a frigging Disgusting habbit and I personally cant stand not being able to go anywhere in this state without having to wade through nasty ciggarete smoke. I have kids and they do not deserve to sit in a PUBLIC resturant and have to breath in that poison, and ruin their lungs because smokers have rights. Smokers have the right to walk outside and smoke, and not to poison the air that others breath. ( If you were to go swimming in a Public pool do I have the right to piss in it because I like peeing when I swim ? Its disrespectful. And as far as all the lost jobs and closed buisinesses I doubt it . CA did it and guess what, people that smoke go out side. Its nice to breath fresh air when you go to a bar or a resturant . I also think its great that it passed because the supporters of Q 4 were (pardon the punn) but, blowing smoke up the publics a$$ by using the slogan PROTECT OUR CHILDREN vote yes on 4. that is BS. Whats worth more, money or our childrens health??????? :fro:
