I dont know if this is up your alley, but I do work for las vegas handyman and I know they are always looking for people. From what I understand, they pay pretty decent. Im not a handyman, I just maintain their computers/network...

Thats interesting about the EVDO cards working there, that means I can also use my crackberry and work from there also.

Im in the process of switching carriers, and I know that Verizon is one of the only Carriers that work in Dumont. I use a Crackberry and I dont expect that to have good service there with it, so Im going to get a secondary phone for out in Dumont. If any of you guys/girls have Verizon and your phone works/works well, what model is it? Im leaning torwards a Razor, but I dont want to get a bunk phone since its only purpose is for Dumont. TIA

k... seems like I got everything I needed to bring - 4000W Generator, IPOD (with Porn Tunes), Sirius, Extension Cord, and Misc cords for the IPOD and Sirius. Anything else needed?

Just as a note, from what I read on the UR site, the generators burn .5(yes 1/2 gallon) of fuel for every hour of operation.

Im bringing a generator for sure. As far as fuel for the light towers, dont they run on diesel? From what I read on the United Rentals website they also have extra outlets on them, and they are around 12KW.

I was just looking at those light towers, and it says that when its fully up @ 30FT it is stable in 65mph wind. I can use them as driving lights

I have a generator, a ipod, and sirius. If someone wants to help on making arangements on lights for rent I will charge them to my company. (ar'nt the like 150.00?)

Im scared to take my 2wd out to that area too, but im more scared of my chick if i dont get her out there in the 2wd - will someone pull me out if needed?
