the rocks at dumont can be brutal, but ive never had a problem. i run 7 paddle haulers and hook up great. if you rip a paddle you dont have to throw it away. skat-trak replaces each blade for 6 bux.

the reason that knob is under the plastics is so your leg wont rub it and accidently shut it off. kinda useless though, i would of cut it too.

a red header is normal. sounds a little lean, is this popping sound a backfire under decelaration? full throttle? all gears or is this in neutral while its parked? bump up your main jet a few sizes, its easy and fast to do. you dont have to take the carb off. backfiring can also be caused by an exaust leak, my bike was backfiring and found out its because i had a missing header bolt.
