  1. Might have to come out and sport the cut down axles and new/in the works car.
  2. Up for grabs T3T4 turbo, brand unknown, new never used. Was bought for a toyota pickup build but my buddy sold it and bought a Duramax 250.00 chrome subaru s tube, goes from t3t4 turbo to flipped intake manifold on a 2.5 DOHC when no intercooler is used. 25.00 Limiting straps, eyes are 8.5 apart 10.00ea Used/ needs repair single piston CNC #623 caliper.Pressure hole needs to be oversized tapped, fitting was bumped for a while and eventually knocked out by bad hose routing. 10.00 CNC clutch or brake reservoir 3/4 bore, needs rebuild. 10.00 CNC slave cylinder one on right needs a rebuild 5.00 left is sold Latest rage u-joint, 7/8 smooth for charlynn to 5/8 36 spline. still nice and tight. 20.00 22in long 930 axles, no problems, they were pulled and longer ones put in when my buddy did a tranny swap. 100.00 JE pistons and rings, barely used, came out of a 2.5 SOHC engine that was recently built and they decided to not run a turbo engine and swapped these out for stock pistons. I bought them not knowing they would not work in my DOHC build. 250.00 Supreme throttle cable (think its a morse), 9Ft used one season in perfect shape 35.00 Pm or text Patrick 702 401 3666 Thanks for looking!
  3. Sorry to hear, terrible news. Hopefully things will turn around for you and your family quickly!
  4. Almost everything is mounted and on schedule to go out for prez weekend. Few pics
  5. Andy, thanks for the support. Yeah It is a bit overwhelming sometimes looking at the big picture so I try to tackle one small area at a time, kinda works lol. Working out of town has not helped on the labor side but is in the purchasing dept. For sure the 3 person was a must I have 4 kids and the old lady but she turns green riding in the car so she will prob be on a quad and I'll have the kids with me so it works one way or another, just thinking kids aren't getting any smaller so an LS1 and a mendi next yr maybe....haha don't tell the Mrs! Hopefully at least a couple dune trips this season would be great, time will tell.
  6. Little progress, not enough to get out to the sand yet. intercooler and radiator mounted, decided to go with -20AN fittings on the coolant lines picked up a 3 person prp seat (awesome deal) progress on most of the floors Decided to go with my gauges in pods right on the horizon of your view, we'll c how I like this. Hopefully some more progress in the next couple weeks and I can make it out prez weekend!
  7. Whats up? Yep I come by here now and then to get the sand fix and post progress if any.
  8. Not much progress, we got the tank welded up minus the mounting tabs, filler neck and breather. Should be close to 20 gal. welded some mounts on the radiator also, hopefully have both of those mounted soon then I can plumb and wire the car along with floors and 100 other things. New maiden voyage is rescheduled for New Years.
  9. That's what I just switched these out on my car for. I gained around 2-3in but im not even sure if that is that correct because the razor backs on those tires are gonna sink into the sand a little more whereas that 5 rib smooth ones will float on top a little more so I think that will kinda sit about the same in the sand and the razors will just have a little more bite. Just all in head.lol
  10. I am hoping for around Halloween but just depends on money and time...u know the usual constraints. It won't be finished by any means but should be ready for some sand. The frame was originally a chassis built on a jig table at the wizard fab school and has been sitting around rusting for a bit, crazy to work with a car that things on both sides match when measured.LOL. As of right now I believe it cycles close to 18in front and rear but I have not purchased any axles for it yet so the rear is not 100% but I have measured and remeasured everything to make sure I had it set up to use my shocks to their potential this time. The car is pretty wide so it gave me some good axle angles. Justin did the front end for me, all I said was I wanted a center pivot on this car and he did his magic again. I just had some input on how I was hoping it would look when done. I run the paddles that direction on the asphalt just to sharpen them
  11. We were over there for a day trip mostly for the kids and a friend with a kid for their first time to the dunes and really riding quads. Really it's not bad at all over there and pretty mellow. I just have crappy luck and found the one 5-6ft witches eye out there 3rd gear just feeling good in the first 10 min with our guest in the car and one of my daughters. Sweeping the tops of a winding finger basically, came up on it and decided no time to stop or change course so gassed it knowing I didn't want my front end in it and thinking the rear could suck it up but it hit just right. Crazy it was a little jarring but was not too bad. Best part is our friend, a female tells me she wants the first ride in the new car, she was having a blast! LOL Live and Learn, never let ur guard down cuz it looks like nice smooth sailing and their "baby" dunes. Good thing is car was almost ready for powdercoat and if I woulda had it all done and this break happened I woulda lost it.
  12. So our old car bit the dust end of last season and will be returning to the dunes this season as an organ donor to this new one. Another 4 seat just a little beefier than the last one 120 wall and more bracing. Chassis was basically a donation to the cause, my Buddy Justin reworked the front end and has been helping me along when I get lost for ideas on situations. I'll try and post when things progress little by little.
  13. Ended up azzing out in a witches eye at the freakin baby dunes last season and result was crunching my frame from my rear shock towers up with the impact. Decided it was time to upgrade. Chassis went to the scraper for 40 bucks, sold the A-arm front end to a person doing a conversion similar to my deal. Rest of my parts are being transplanted into the new car. RIP little buggy we had some good rides!
