Good shots Pete! That Stewart crash was rough. It was hard to watch him stumbling around when you could tell he must have been in tremendous pain! I ended up bringing my 8 year old nephew to watch and my sister says he won't stop talking about it today. So I think I've created a monster! Next place I have to take him to is Dumont!

I for one am a believer! :headbang1: Although I am not a huge Obama fan I don't find it coincidental or convenient at all the timing of his death. There were far better opportunities to fake his death in the past and not 10 years later after billions of dollars were spent trying to catch the man. I think this will be the one time in my life that I will ever say "SOB deserved to die and I hope it was painful and terrible for him" considering the evil person he was. Well done to our military!!

Yep if you do it right with the whole kit then you will notice some horse power gains. Not much, maybe 3 to 5 horsepower but it will give you something.

I love my Elka's on my bike. Made me ride so much more comfortable and gave me a little more confidence as seemed to be able to control the bike better. I think your wife will like them a lot!

I was thinking about the season almost being over when Terry posted up the cleanup thread! This may very well be my last season depending on what happens with my employment status here in Vegas. I gotta get in as many trips as I can before it gets to hot.

I think your right on the "G" generation. The problem with 4G is it is a standard that none of the companys have met yet but through "marketing" have used 4G as a selling term. T mobile is a 3G plus speeds but not 4G standard. Since 4G isn't the real name of the "standard" they can call it anything they want. Real 4G speeds are on the way. If you remember when 3G came out, only large markets had it for a few years and then it spread from there. Sucks for me since I live in the boonies. You vegas guys will be one of the first markets for obvious reasons. I need to find the article I read that explained all of this, it's a good read.

I have contemplated getting a Droid for a while now. Everyone I know is super happy with their Droid. Just want to stick with Apple considering everything else I have is Apple and works well with it. Knowing me I'll sit on this for a little bit longer and then make the jump to Verizon.

I love it. The best phone I have ever bought. No bugs and the phone works great.

Just out of curiosity, did you happen to have the iphone on AT&T? Is the 3g coverage on AT&T just as fast as the 3g coverage on Verizon or are they about the same??

OK, so Verizon has the iphone now and I'm curious to hear what people have to say about it. I've had AT&T with the iphone for several years now and have been wishing Verizon would carry it. Now that it does I want to know if it works better or worse than the AT&T version? I have not heard much about it since it came out in February and before I cancelled my service with AT&T I wanted to see if there were any bugs that needed to be worked out first. Anyone that has one please respond and let me know what you think.

Just thought of my most enjoyable moment out there. The last run of the weekend we went all the way to the highest point of the dunes . I had never been up there before and it was kinda a challenge for me to get there. WOW the view from there is really incredible. It was so peaceful and quite and made me appreciate the beauty of the dunes. Sometimes I forget to stop and look at how cool the scenery is out there. The thought of me moving to Hawaii and not being able to to out to Dumont is starting to set in. If I go through with it I'm really gonna miss it!

It was a super nice weekend. Honestly the weather and sand conditions couldn't have been any better. Pete came close to writing on my face with a sharpie courtesy of Anna but I woke up. Those were some great runs minus the crowds which is always my favorite way to ride. Pete, you hit the nail on the head when you came up with the idea of going out on Friday night. What an amazing weekend!!

Damn is it already that time of the year again?? End of season is creeping up on us and it feels like it just started. I'll be there to help with the clean up as needed.
