  1. I run a ProCircuit Header and pipe. Amazing power on my 08 YZ450F. FMF mega bombs are pretty good too.
  2. Have one.... bike is extremely under powered for the size. Suspension is awsome for the little guys. We put a pipe, jetting and clutch in it and its just louder, not really any extra power. My Bro-In-Law smokes me on a CRF50! LOL
  3. This sounds good to me! Looks like im gonna be doing some custom motor work!!!!!! So far we have a 70 for each class to compete next year. I cant wait for the next regatta! Pete we need to have a regatta 3.5! lol
  4. I hear ya on that... I just think a split class would be good. The last race was so crowded. I didnt enter this year cuz I just got mine running but for #4 I wanna be in the thick of it!
  5. Ok heres the plan so far.... Gonna go with the cam upgrade from DR ATV and maybe move up to a 26mm carb. Im finding that these chinese carbs say 24 but there really like a 20-22. So popping for the real mikuni may make a huge difference once its jetted properly. Port work and big bore will be on hold till end of the year if needed. lol Edit - and installing an oil cooler cuz this baby runs H-O-T with an over exhaust pipe.
  6. I just went through this. For some reason, you need a half link. It puts the chain just right for adjustment. Without the half link the chain tensioner would go all the way up and not tension properly, cut off the link and you stretch the chain with the tensionor all the way down and you are just short and cant make the link fit. I found a half link at my local hardware store for less than $2.00. You will probably have a 420 pitch chain. If you need one, lemme know. I bought 3 of them lol.
  7. Im down for the horizontial only but this past regatta you had 121 and up racing unlimited. It was pretty unfair considering most of the engine kits now are 125 semi auto and there in a class with 140, 150, 155, 160, 177 & 184's.... Then throw one of those big motors in a suspension frame its all over for the regular 70 framed bikes. I just think the suspension should have its own class. I mean if I showed up with a 250R frame and a 200 horizontial that had an atc70 decal on the fender does that make it legal for the unlimited class? I know its all for fun and all, but damnit I wanna trophy too (and not the slowest lap! but ill take what I can get!) LOL
  8. Can Pete confirm this? Also can we confirm if the suspension bikes will be in a seperate class? After 3rd regatta I wanna build a suspension frame but not sure how thatll work out since everyone whinned this year about them..... lol

  12. Im running a 24mm carb w/ a 42 pilot and 98 main. The motor is a DDR140 out of a pit bike. It needs a little love in the needle and main area but at 9 bucks a jet its coming along slowly. The motor I was looking at was a GPX160. As for my gearing I have a 14 front and OEM rear. I havent played with gearing yet. What I found was that I wasnt able to pull the 125cc Lifan unless I get the jump off the line. Other than that if its a clean start its an even run. I just want more juice!!!!!!!!!!!!

  14. LOL I want more juice! With the GPX160 you can go to a 184 big bore and V2 Race head. Getting 20+ HP outta that combo! Other otion is to go bigger on 140 carb, maybe a ported head or something. I dunno what I wanna do yet.
  15. Anyone know if a GPX160 will fit in the ATC70 frame?
