  1. We rode out there Saturday morning and what a surprise to see it that way. When we got there, some guys in a buggys pulled up at the same time. We saw beer and the spray cans on the ground around the pole. We picked the stuff up and the guys in the buggys said they haul the trash out for us.

We did find the new South Pole, I'll post picture of it tomorrow.

  2. Is it just me or does anybody else have no problem w/ the gas odors? I have had my Raptor & buggy in the toyhauler Since Saturday (now Thurs) and no gas odors at all.

I don't have a problem with gas odors in mine either. Plus, I don't keep my quads in the RV all the time, only when I'm heading out the desert. I figure that when I'm driving out, I'll keep the air moving in the garage area just incase something were to happen.

Plus, the wife keep a lot of smell good stuff all over the RV :D

  3. I've heard that a removable carpet will draw out the gas odors as well, by removing it when you camp,, then replacing it and rolling the quads in on top.

    Wives tale or fact???

I wouldn't roll the quads on top the carpet, just because is something does leak, it won't ruin the carpet. The flooring they use in the garage area is pretty good stuff, just wipe the spill up and go.

  4. That's a very nice rig Ross. Does WW offer that unit without the garage? Since you have 5 quads, you'll need something without a garage.

I like our garage, but we only have 3 quads. Our garage is 12' long so it can fit our 3 quads, 3 coolers, and all our riding gear and tools. I keep the inside door closed when towing and open the roof vent to let any gas/oil smell out.

  5. Right on

Hey, Big Gunz, you guys should get your group, DSD.com, and come camp together w/ DDR. It will be one BIG happy camp that weekend. :laughoff::thumb:  :thumb:

Let me ask the group where they wish to camp. We kind of like our DSD.com camp site but you never know what will happen. If we don't camp together, we'll at least come over for some :laughoff::laughoff: and a BIG GROUP ride.

  6. I may have my days turned around Pete  ... I'll need to talk with the Better Half :thumb: But I'm almost positive it was there Sunday Afternoon.

But we did notice all the Letters were missing out of the mailbox. Looks like its ready for an Extreme makeover too!

Thank You in Advance if you do need to replace the Mailbox! :happydrunks::thumb:

You're right Bob, we made the North Pole run Sunday afternoon. I can't believe someone would do this to the North Pole. If you need any help getting it fix, let me know, I'll be glad to help out.

  7. I'm also guilty of dumping my grey water in the dunes. I have 70 gallons of grey water (two 35 gallon tanks) in my rig, one in front and one in back. I try to dump mine in the cover of darkness or early in the morning. Dig a deep enough hole, 2 to 3 feet deep, crack the tanks, and let them slowly drip for about an hour. Once there empty, fill in the hole and you'll never know I dumped the grey water.

  8. I'm thinking of getting the Edge set up on mine. I already have a Gibson 4" (cat-back) exhaust so I just need to add a little get-up-and-go to the engine. Check out www.thedieselplace.com for more information on D-Max stuff.

  9. Thanks Big_Gunz_

I don't know what you guys are talkin about though. I thought the dunes were pretty smooth. ISBB, you need to get a front ribbed tire before next ride out. :thumb:

I guess you can't really tell how rough they are from the pictures. You can say I'm getting to be an old fat guy that likes the smooth stuff. :laughoff: Back in the day, it didn't matter, but now days I don't recover as fast as I use too. :cripple:
