So Chris, how about an update? I am getting ready to install a Turbonetics t3/t4 on my Honda 3.5 and was wanting to get all of my ducks in a row before i start. I have been looking at what others have done to make their systems better but not much talked about when starting from scratch. I have my plumbing pretty much figured out, I am going with a stock ECU, run 5ish lbs of boost and gonna mix race fuel for the rest of the season (i have been getting conflicting advise whether 91 is adequate) and maybe upgrade to a stand alone next summer. I looked on eBay for a "missing link" and couldn't find one for a 3.5 application, which one did you go with? did you get a ball bearing or bushing turbo? did you run water lines? (if so why or why not?) I heard that some people were disconnecting their V-Tec, did you?(again why or why not?). Fuel management unit... OBX? JDM? 10:1?.....Injectors?....BOV?.....wow, a lot of questions, sorry bro. Anyone wanting to put in their is more than welcome. If i missed anything, please feel free

does the yfz have a reverse?? I cant remember.... also the first few years that the yfz was out it was carbureted, some people are cool with that (i like the EFI because we do trips to utah and such). I enjoy my 700 a lot, but the 450 is a great bike also....I think you would be happy with either.

I think i have seen some people on craigslist renting their RVs ...they will bring them out and set them up, then come and pick them up when you are done.

update: I went ahead and bit the bullet and bought a new frame, build is almost complete but still waiting on the title to come back from DMV and some new plastics and it will get posted in the classified section...

I was Talking with Bill Shapley over at his shop yesterday and he told me about a swap meet that SNORE was putting together to benefit the "make a wish" foundation. The meet has a bunch of spaces still available and the cost is $20 for space fees and $2 entrance fee. All of those proceeds go to make a wish... whatever you sell or swap is yours. I think he said that the spaces were 10' x 20' (don't quote me on that) I personally don't have enough stuff for my own space so I was gonna go in with some other peeps and get one, Maybe others can do the same..

The swap meet will have VW stuff, Dune buggy stuff, truck, car, sand, SXS, quads, bikes ..... or what ever stuff.

After seeing Pete's pick, I did a little research and found a starter made by IMI specifically for a Honda and Mendeola application, It is a Hi Torque 101-NL... about 3 bones .... Thanks Jim and Pete for the help!!

Pete, is that a 3.2 or 3.5 ?? .... is that a gear reduction starter? The starter that I bought from John over at RC wont clock to that angle....problem possibly solved with a different starter... part #?

I am interested in the rear yamaha wheels ..... not really willing to travel to kingman though.... it you still have them, please bring them on your next trip to vegas.

So I have been running a Honda 3.5 with a 091 built bus and made the jump to a 2D (actually a DECO) ... when I married up the 3.5 with the trans, i came across a challenge.... the starter motor was wanting to occupy the same space as the coolant manifold. So I went to GD.com and did some research and found a few threads on some mods that others have done. I am curious to find out what options I have (what have you done or seen) to alleviate my problem. I am pretty sure someone has one of these manifolds laying around or knows where I might find one....thanks

Do you only need a frame? You could probably find a frame somewhere for $400 shipped.

I have been on the Raptor forums, Glamis dunes, Race Dezert, ebay etc. looking... all around a grand + for just a titled frame . If you have some ideas for me i would be most appreciative

I currently have a Silver / White 2006 Raptor 700 that has a bent Frame, I am looking for someone who has a similar bike with a blown motor or something of the sort. I am not really looking at dumping big $$ into it, maybe $1200 tops. if i don't find anything then it goes on the chopping block next week. If you have something then maybe we can work out a deal if you need parts then check back next week.
