  1. my weekend was good to despite not being able to go to dumont

    1. my daughter turned 10 and we had a very good party for her even with a bunch of drama queens

    2. sunday went on a 4hr desert ride on my 2 wheeler with some good friends

    3. im a govt. employee so i got paid to not do anything monday

    4. monday went on a 4hr desert ride on my quad with more good friends

  2. thats twice i know of that celine did that i had a buddy that took his wife a year and a half ago for their anniversary they even called that morning just to make sure all was good they get there that night and were not only told the show was cancelled but no refunds would be given and they would be notified when the concert was rescheduled along with not wanting to refund the money on the room cost because they were past the deadline for cancellations. after an hour or so of bitching they finally got all of the money back

  3. yes dave and joe both are very good guys to deal with. they have helped me on a few different quads and couldnt be happier with what they suggested and sold me. even on a quad they hadnt dealt with before they hit the nail on the head as to what would work best for the quad and type of rider. :shake: to fullerton sand sports

  4. it was nice and quiet all morning with us 2 being the only ones there so it was really good for him to get used to riding a quad. the sand was so nice and smooth except on the ridges where all the rain had made potholes. some places the sand was harder than other places. 1 other pickup and trailer showed up by noon. those rigs and crew didnt show up until later

  5. well i went out for the day for my step dad to get used to his new quad and i was riding my new quad and out of the blue here comes box vans, toyhaulers, diesel transport rigs and several vehicles then all of a sudden a helicopter appears. upon further inspection they are filming a commercial for the mercedes ml series suv. they had 1 all stickered up like a rally and the other was all silver. when we were leaving they were filming on the entrance road going back and forth and ill tell ya they werent doin no 25 i would guess they werent even doin 65 they were flat haulin azz.

  6. It all depends on what you want to do.If you are riding MX type stuff the Yoshi,FMF,Pro circuit, and Dr. D are good choices. They are all mainly Low/Midrange pipes. If you plan on Duning alot i would stick with your original plan. The Sparks Big Core is one of the best exhausts out there. The Ron Woods is a great pipe also.ESR Pro Series runs great.Another great all around pipe is the M4.Most of these corporate places you are linking to just sell MX style pipes.I had a YOSHI for my first pipe on my YFZ and although it ripped on the bottom end it fell flat on its face on the top end power.I switched to the ESR Pro Series and ESR airbox eliminator and it was a HUGE difference. You are going to want to get an intake with the exhaust too.I would reccomend the FCI if you can afford it,or the Ron Woods. The Ported ESR is the next best thing and very affordable over the other 2.You cant go wrong with the Sparks Big Core though.Thats what i would get if i were you.Dont get a slip on.Save you $$$ and do it right.Sparks Big Core and a Fuel Customs Intake will rip.Good Luck!!

uh wrong 1bad4fiddy, ^^^^^^^^this is all you need to know. when it comes to spending time and $$$ on a yfz aaron has done it believe me he knows what works and doesnt.

  7. there is an oil mod kit out that does not require the engine even coming out of the frame and it is all bolt on parts from yamaha. the kit is $325 and i got mine from pdr which is on the yfztech.com web site go down to the vendors and look for pdr. they even have a thread in the tech section with pics for a step by step on how to do it.

  8. Trust me you DONT need a 13 in the front.with a stock axle,and 22" 72 rollout haulers 14-40 will work great.

when he says "TRUST ME", listen. he is very fast and has never steered me in the wrong direction several members on this board and yfz tech will back that up

  9. since all my co workers know that i go on to a dumont dunes website they asked me to find out if anybody has heard anything about the mullisha doing a world record jump this weekend march 24 out at dumont. 2 guys have heard this from different sources

  10. i would agree with dr.d after all they are the ones who do r&d work before yamaha puts out a bike or quad and they are factory riders. so one would think they should have the most insight on yamaha products

  11. you guys have fun out there and be safe. i wont be able to make it as i am still in japan for my work i was supposed to be back yesterday but have to stay longer. im having sand withdrawls the only sand here is on the beach

  12. dont forget to tell him about the oil mod it seems that it would be especially important to do the oil mod on a modiffied bike hell yamaha changed it on stock bikes so it should be a definite change for the modded bikes. go check out pdr in the yfztech site he has a complete bolt on kit that you can do without having to drill a certain size hole in a certain place like some of threads i have read on this subject. i already ordered one and my bike is nothing special
