ill be out saturday morning probably somewhere my kids can ride around without any major crowding i hear that they do a trick or treat in the evening for kids? i went for my first rail ride this past weekend in my buddies mid travel vw with a turbo a couple of trips up comp and a few other places very nice. now maybe i can beg don for a ride in a long travel and hook up with pete for a mini rail ride pleasssssssssssssssse. does anyone know if suspension unlimited will be out there giving rides i would like a sample of a few different rails.

randog its all good and i aint pissed at anybody as i do realize that everybody sees things differently and maybe there is something i missed. i just wanted to bring up dune safety thats all.

nick i couldnt tell you what kind of quad i was behind i just remember seeing the rails i recognized and wanted a chance to get in on a ddr ride and say hello and thanks for hooking up my buddys manx

bert thank you very much jacob (manx) i think was a little bummed that his day was pretty much over and its really cool to be part of a group like ddr that helps out other duners

well i hope everybody had a good time and nobody got hurt. i tried to get by the giant ddr campgrounds to say hi and get my hat and a sticker for my truck but most were usually gone riding. thanks to whomever welded up a bolt on the trailing arm of my buddies little tan manx at least he didnt end up going home early. i do have 1 issue though and everyone talks about safety during a ride. i was out with 3 guys from our camp and i saw pete, tim, don and several others so i thought bitchin i will jump in at the end of the pack cruise with them and then say howdy. at the tail end we all jumped in and a few razors later i went over a razor to the right following the quad ahead of me and next thing you know there is a red rail about 5 to 10 feet on my right side way to close for haulin through the dunes. so to save from having a problem i had to jerk back to the left going back over the razor and down the other side. my 2 other buddies followed me and said this guy had cut across a flat spot to obviously catch up to the group and after i fell out he continued on with the group. i aint lookin to start sh*t and i realize you might not know i am part of ddr and maybe i would have thought a little different if there wasnt 2 witnesses to see what had just taken place. even if i wasnt part of ddr it still doesnt make it cool. if you fall off the pace of the group dont try and haul a$$ to catch up and cut people off to get back together

with the flags she makes the pole slids up into and through a sleeve you fold back the top edge and the bottom edge to reveal 2 black pieces of material which you then use a small hose clamp to secure to your pole then you fold the pieces back over and you never see the clamps

thats pretty awesome. i dont have any pics but i work with a guy who was doin around 120 on a rice rocket and literally ran into a motorhome he and the bike went inside as the fiberglass fileted him like a fish. when he arrived at the emergency room after a nice helicopter ride he was in a coma with pieces sticking in and through him. punctured lung several broken ribs his spleen was split apart and numerous other injuries. this was about 3 months ago and needless to say he wont be back for awhile.

yes it is in good shape. all graphite with a carbon fiber center stiffener, aluminum cvd's, aluminum shock collars on threaded shocks, machined delrin front arms, 2 full sets of extra tires, nice airbrushed body. are you going out out to bahnshee wars i can bring it and let you check it out. i also have a losi xxxs touring sedan i am going to let go.

have been into the hobby for 22 years and have raced many classes and tried many cars. the newest thing i am working on is 2 rock crawlers. anybody into r/c would be amazed what those little things can actually crawl and manuever over.

as far as that "bubble" out of the side panel i went over to a buddies house and he has an 05 yz450f and his side panel is flush with the seat and rear fender. i wonder why they would do that for 06 maybe they guy at flick has it in with somebody at yamaha

thanks nick thats why i posted on ddr there are always helpfull and informative people on this site. i wonder if that mount would slip in behind my left number plate. i noticed that at the rear of the plate it bubbles out about the size of my finger and looks like a mount could slide in there. do you happen to know what they cost they didnt have any prices posted

so since i now have a :headbang: to ride in the dunes who makes flag monts for bikes i remember somebody had a mount that came off of the left side panel so you ended up with a shorty flag maybe it was pauly. i saw it when tims rail broke at the cleanup and they were headed back to camp. thanks for any help guys

how about dr.d pipes anybody tried em. after all doug dubach and one of his employees are yami factory riders and the ones who do the test and r&d work for yamaha before quads or bikes are released. i would think they should have a leg up on the pipes for yamahas

you never know, they say they will cut vehicles available then they introduce a new model ?
