i had read an article which covered the 06 lineup and it said that there would be cutbacks on the duplication of quads in the suzuki kawasaki lineup. something to the effect on sales being affected by to many vehicles spread out. suzuki might be the only ones with the 50 and 80 while kawasaki might follow up with other models in the future. i guesss like chrysler did a few years ago. how many times can they rename the intrepid

i remember hearing almost the exact statement from a sherriff friend of my dads 20+ years ago about the shotgun as a home defense weapon and it has stuck with me ever since.

nice quad how do you like the stabilizer and is it the adjustable version. i have been thinking of getting one for all the hard desert riding i do but wanted to turn it down for duning

yeah pete you have me interested in some early morning trips do you ever make any night trips. hopefully by next season i will have living quarters of some type so i can stay for more than just a day

as for the cleanup thanks to ynot and all the companies that supported the effort i had no idea about the free lunch, t-shirts and all the cool prizes. when pete first told us about it i just wanted to pitch in to do our part.

are you from orange county and have more money than you know what to do with and dont have the decency to at least drive a little further away from a small child trying to do their part in helping out. its not like it was night time and she was wearing black. i maybe a little offbase here but i hope you can understand my frustration.

let me jump on the bandwagon with pete on this one. if i can get my family up at 4:30am drive out there and have my 4 yr old and 8 yr old with a broken arm picking up trash in the rainy and crappy weather. why in the hell cant these brainless orange county posers with the 100k sandrails and 250k coaches figure it out. i literally had one drive within 10ft of my 4 year old and look at us funny as we are picking up trash so why in the hell should i even have them out there pitching in? let me tell you why its because i love the dunes and so do they, sure they cant climb comp very much or ride the chili bowl but i want them to be able to someday. as if these morons dont have a clue ok maybe they dont know about these chat sites but hello they must have some sort of an education to afford those expensive a$$ toys so i know they can read. lets see big a$$ suspension unlimited rig, banners that read clean up oh and dont forget the dumpsters that are never out there whats it take to get it across. remember someday when the dunes are closed and you cant sell those expensive rails because there is no place to use em. :headbang: heres to you. as far as the rest of you

if those rigs require a class "a" wouldnt they also fall in the higher insurance bracket since you couldnt technically register it as a rv in california.

i dont know that this is considered ddr gear but it is permanetly on my familys quads. i ran across this guy on ebay making carbon fiber covers that go in place of the factory warning labels. let me say that he is a hell of a nice guy his name is jacob email at carboncovers@aol.com and a recent ddr member. i wasnt able to show them off this past weekend due to the crappy weather and me leaving early. they fit like a glove and look way better than what was previously on there. he makes the carbon fiber and then can put a sticker of your choice on it before he seals it up. of course i had to go with the ddr coin logo. thanks again jacob

i saw that one on cops it was pretty funny we were surprised that they would put it on tv and not edit it out of that episode

It still doesn't make it cool to tape off the dunes.....no matter how you twist it.

im not saying its cool to tape of the dunes or trying to twist anything. but if im not hangin with a large crowd where my kids can be safe and play im coning off an area. not on a dune though

do we need to bring out any type of supplys such as trash bags? blm was attempting a clean up this weekend in barstow but delayed because of snow. they were supplying rakes, shovels, trash bags etc, we were told not to bring anything.
