  1. I’m looking to see who might be interested in this trailer. Very clean, maintained trailer. New roof coating, professionally done. You can fit 2 4 seat rzrs inside this trailer. Garage is 27 feet long, 99 inches wide then 75 inches wide for the last 4 feet. Only 1 slide in the bedroom.

  2. 1998 26ft' Weekend Warrior 'Triple Axle'
Start looking around, you won't find many Triple Axle 26 footers.
With the Triple Axle this trailer pulls like a dream.
Remove the rear bunk and there is no problem getting 2 RZRs in and still have extra gear space.
Trailer has frame mounted fuel tank for the generator, and you can add a fueling station, too.
GVWR is 9800 lbs Unladen weight is 5215.
That gives you over 4000lbs of STUFF that you can haul!!!

  3. Anyone know if the Fox (I think that's who did it) family is doing the haunted house this year?

This is Roni And Fran Fox AKA "DUNESHAUNT". Is is unfortunate that we will not be doing the DUNESHAUNT this year.

We have had alot of changes in our lifes in the last year and a half.

We are getting positioned to get the Haunt back out there for 2015.

WE miss all of our guests, thru the Haunt, and all our fellow duners.

Let there be no confusion the Haunt is not dead, it is just entombed for the 2014 season. Have a safe Duning Halloween, Scare YA Later!

  4. It is with a heavy heart that we have to inform all our Dumont Duneing Family that we will be canceling the DunesHaunt, this year. We, the Fox Family, just made a major move to a ranch in Apple Valley. Our renovations on our ranch home started in late March and are still continuing. We were hoping that we would be further along in the renovations and that we would have the time to kick DunesHaunt up from last year. It is unfortunate that we cannot do both the renovations and DunesHaunt.

We love putting on the haunt and bringing it to all our fellow duners. We will be back, Next year and we promise DunesHaunt 2014 will be the best haunt yet!!!!!

Safe Duneing and Have a Happy Halloween!

  5. I had one leaking on my old trailer. I went to Lowes and got a 2 part waterproof epoxy. Drain all the water first and be patient. It took some time to get it all filled in be it never leaked again.

Pete's fix is the better fix, and more permanent than mine.

  6. In my rail I keep some basic hand tools, wrench for CV's, Spare CV, wire, assorted nuts and bolts, couple of lug nuts. tie wraps, tow strap, one or two special sockets for a few things. The idea is to get me back to camp were I have more tools and welder if needed. Oh and an emergency sattelite transponder in case someone is hurt badly and no cell service.

Dude I would expect nothing less from you! You rock!

  7. JB Weld, a metric socket/wrench set up to 19mm...a socket for my front sprocket with 1/2 drive ratchet, breaker bar, 1 6in extention, 1 3in extension, deep well socket for my lug nuts, safety wire, compressed air can, plyers, adjustable wrench, dikes, and electrical tape for my YFZ 450. Also have an assortment of bolts/nuts, wire connectors, spark plugs, jets, seals.

Great toolbox Doug.. I do assume this is the tool box at camp. What's with you on the bike?

  8. I bought a roll up pouch for my Harley's a few years ago and after selling them I just kept it. It has a little of everything in it including bailing wire and tape. I will try to get the name of the company I got it from for you.

I remember that kit from when we had our Harleys. I had a Road Glide full dresser and I let the tool kit go with the bike..

  9. I've been out tinkering in the garage and decided that I'd like to get some input on what all should be included in a toolbox for your sandcar, side by side, quad or bike. Give me a post. Let me know what you're in or on and what's in that toolbox.

  10. Where areyou going to camp, Saul?

We would love to have you come run with our crew.

We will be out on the27th.

Don't know if we are parking by #6, Like for the haunt, or back by 12.

Can't wait to get back in the sand!!!!

  11. Well truth be told it should read "I need to see the sand."

Ok, now let me explain what I'm trying to get across to you, my fellow duners. My wife, Lady Busa, and myself, have improved in our night duning skills, to the point that it has become VERY apparent that the lighting we have on our sandcars is inadequate. Shes running a set of Baja Designs floods and a set of Baja Designs spots. I'm running some Lazerstar knockoff spots and some PIAA Floods. Lady Busa has to keep in mind the draw whatever lights she has, due to the small output of just 35 amps from the Busa's Stator. We are looking for some input as to what you are using and are there changes that you would make? Or is you're lighting dialed in.

I continue to read anything and everything I can concerning what works best in our, (Dunes) environment. I am looking for more down to earth, REAL DUNERS, likes and dislikes in their lighting.

Lets hear some of the 'I bolted these on, took one run, thru them in the trash,' or 'I bolted them on and angels started singing when I hit the dunes' testimonials.

I know that we are not the only ones that have these questions. And I know this is the fodder that is discussed around the campfires after the runs., but since we can't be at every campfire, help to enlighten your fellow duners and of course the better we all see out there, at night, the safer we all are.

  12. We would like to take the opportunity to share the pics that

    Neal Rideout Photography

    took of the haunt.
