I bought a roof for the Rhino in Temecula and the guy that was suppose to pick it up for me bombed so is anyone going thru there that could pick it up and bring it to Pahrump, Las Vegas, or Dumont? He is in Glamis this weekend so it can't be done until he gets back. Thanks.

You the ones that hit the transformer and knocked out power at the lodge this summer? You just need to practice with that long of a 5th wheel and remember that you need to swing wider to miss objects, its way different than a short bumper pull on turning. Hope you checked to make sure your truck was legal to pull that much weight?

I don't suppose you noticed the red Dodge truck waiting at the next driveway to go? I couldn't see traffic behind you and then I noticed the hauler and then the big DDR sticker on the back! I have been parking on the end by the diesel fuel station for only 13 years.

As I was leaving work today at 3:30 a blue Ford dually truck pulling a 5er toyhauler pulled in to get diesel right beside where I park and it had DDR on the back door, who was it? I was already out across traffic or I would have said hi.

I think its a pain to put the anifreeze in all the lines and then clean them out to camp so I bought a $2 thngie that connects to the water inlet and I put an air hose on that and blow out the lines and drain the water heater, works great. But of course the P traps still have water in them but I figure there is room for expansion if they freeze. I filled all my water tanks/lines the night before going to Dumont over New Years and the next morning I had frozen lines and it was only a little under 30 degrees.

I was actually thinking of locals since there are a buttload of subdivisions going in with small lots and they don't allow rv parking.

I have 5 acres in Pahrump and I was thinking of putting in RV storage, do you guys think I could get $100 a month for an RV no matter how long and what kind of security would be needed? I have a 5' field fence now, would that be enough?

A buddy is looking to buy 2 Honda Rincon quads and after talking to the dealers in Vegas and St. George he is all fed up with the crap and the deal was how much over MSRP! Anyone have a connection or idea where he can buy 2?

I think the best dune quad out there is the KFX 700, I had 2 sold one and still have one that I kept for when I don't want to use the Rhino. I have had tuned Raptors, Banshee, 250r, and have ridden most others and I still prefer the KFX. I can stop at the bottom of a hill then when I decide to go just hit the throttle and go up and over most anything and on the way down the other side the engine brake works great. Hills that I had trouble going over with the other quads was no problem with the KFX and I use to get stuck alot with those, I have yet to get stuck with the KFX. Now the clutch boys will not agree!

I got kicked off of Integrity's lot on a Sunday a couple of months ago by security, he says they don't want anyone here when they are not open, I said you are joking right? He said no pls leave and I said I will leave and never come back as I bought my 05 Dodge from this lot after spotting it on a Sunday but it won't happen again. What idiots.

If you guys go to Ash Meadows make sure you use steel shot only, no lead at all or you could get a big ticket. I happened to be "working" in Beatty and Rhyolite yesterday and saw 3 groups of a dozen or so birds but of course I can't have a gun in my company truck.

I posted in another thread but I have been buying all my tires and rims from Paddle Tire King on LV Blvd in Vegas, he is under or will match RM prices OTD. You need to compare shipping VS sales tax and get the bottom line.

His website sucks for sure, he sells on the net and does good walk in busines. My buddy and I buy all our tires from him and he is at or below Rocky Mtn. ATV in prices and he has most tires and rims in stock of what I wanted. He was a few dollars above RM and came down to match their price. He also has quite a few mod parts in his store that are not on the website.

The smell if from your hot water heater, pull out the probe thingie and you will find that it is either rotted off or has a nasty snot crap on it. You can clean it or replace it and then flush out the water heater. Took me a long time to find this after cleaning the tank a bunch of times. I clean mine 3 or 4 times a year but I am on a well instead of city water.
