Well, here I sit in Taiwan waiting on my next flight. It's 7am on Saturday, 80 degrees with 90% humidity. The flight from LA to Taiwan was pretty good. I flew business class so my chair reclined quite a bit. The food on the other hand is, well, INTERESTING! They serve some "Western Style" stuff, western Asian maybe. I left LA at 1am US time and didn't get to sleep until 6am US time. I finally woke up at noon and it was pitch black out the window. It's a very different world over here. At least I have wireless internet service in the airport while I wait. I'll post up some pics later.

Well, I am off to China for a month. I'm outta here tomorrow at 5pm. I just wanted to tell everyone goodbye and have a good one. I'll miss reading the forums as there is very little, if any internet access where I am going . Hopefully I will be able to find some sort of internet there and send some pictures. Take care everyone...I'll upload pictures soon.

So if I'm the sperm giver and my wife is the sperm receiver, does that make all 3 of my kids Drip #1, Drip #2 and Drip #3??? Give me a friggn' break. Save the money on the crap like this and put it towards more pressing issues. Isn't CA in enough debt already? And another thing, I hate having to press #1 for ENGLISH!!! I could go on and on but I don't want to offend anyone

That happened to a buddy of mine and me while we were riding a few years back and I was amazed at what happened. My buddy just kinda blew it off and the next thing I knew, he reached in his tank bag and grabbed what I later found out was small ball bearings. He tossed them over his shoulder and then rolled on the throttle. There is no doubt that at 50mph, those ball bearings made the headlights go out and most likely the guy had to replace his windshield. Karma is a biatch and when it comes around, LOOK out! Glad you made it home safe. Keep the rubber side up

Okay, now I'm sick to my stomach and I keep seeing dots and squares on my computer screen without even looking at the posts....lovely, now I'm gonna have nightmares about dots and squares and some spinning wheel with a dot...cool nonetheless!

Ya know Terry, I can tie a few of my life experiences to you and speeding up a twisty road only to come to the end of asphalt and into dirt is one of those experiences. Keeping the rubber side down is #1 priority...I just hope the person coming up behind me realizes I'm stopped this time. I had some reallll bright LED's installed for the tail lights that will get their attention.

This town sucks for riding, but honestly, I bought it for to and from work riding and yeah probably some weekend Red Rock riding *snicker* I can honestly say that the only time I got over the speed limit on asphalt was when I was riding with YNOT on a "nice weekend cruise"

Change your home warranty deal. We use Old republic and they are decent. You have to guide them and tell them what you want each time but they come through. Just got our well, booster pump replaced today for $45!!!!

Well they made it out here and said I need a new compressor. I've been calling the warranty company every day letting them know how important this is. If they are not out here installing the compressor by Tuesday, I'm getting a company out here to do it for me, I'll pay and then give the warranty company the ticket and hope for reimbursment.

Wow, I finally got around to reading this thread and I couldn't be more dissappointed. If I had read it earlier some of these pics wouldn't be here. But they've been on so long I guess they can stay. Please remember that not everyone wants to see some of this stuff, especially close up!

Ash...Is that beach public? How specifically do you get to it? Near the marina area?

Oh yeah it's public. The best way I can tell you to get there is from say Newport Blvd and the Marina. Keep going towards Balboa and start parking around 19th through 17th street. Those pictures were taken where we were staying at 18th street and Newport Blvd. It's just South of the Newport Pier. If you are standing on the Newport Pier looking out towards the ocean, it would be to the left.

Well, we got back from vacation today and after driving through Baker where the temp showed 130 on there big thing, it showed 121 on my truck temp...I got back home and holy shiat!!!! One side of the house A/C was out....98 degrees on that side of the house. Man, what a kick in the nuts that was. So I called the home warranty people who said someone would contact me within 48 hours...48 hours!!! WTF, it's a hundred thousand degrees outside. Oh well, at least I have the memories of the sandy beaches, skimpy bikinis and cool Pacific water to fill my mind. Life isn't too bad though, I am flying back to Pasadena tomorrow night and won't be back until Friday night. Here's some of those skimpy bikinis I will have thoughts of....Gotta love telephoto lenses
