  1. Be careful though it gets stuck in your head :laughoff::laughoff:

keep in mind this was for real way back when. (1975)

People actually tunend into this and watched and for some strange reason,

WERE ENTERTAINED :laughoff: This video has had more than 4,484,940 hits since 2009

  2. Well it looks like less and less people have been going through Tecopa.

I just received this e-mail from the manager of the Tecopa hot springs...

    My reply...

I still roll through there and have had no problems at all. The dump site at the hot springs is clean and easy to access and you can flush your tanks with hot water. ( gets them really clean ) hard to find that any place else. Common sense notes that hot water cleans better than cold. Besides I think at this point CHP has blown there wad in Tacopa, Im thinkin its probably not very cheep to set up half of their troops in that podunk little town. Probably more than they raised in fines ( no disrespect to those that got nailed there)

    just my :ban-split:

  3. Back to the soccer feilds for us, Its the last season for my youngest daughter, now 17, she has been playing since she was 5. She was suposed to Race in the Stateline Supermoto next week but a blown top end on her yfz kind of put the kabosh on that.

Now its time to focus on the big event of the summer.......My oldest daughter is getting married in June. My youngest is graduating on the 11th and my oldest getting married on the 12th. Talk about a tough weekend.

With lots and lots of planning to do for both events, I think we will be staying quite busy for a while. I must also add that we are going to try to sqeeze in a couple of riding trips to Williams Arizona and a couple to Utah for the summer. Wish me luck

  4. Easter weekend ..... We got to Dumont on Friday at about 5 pm and the wind was blowin. :( No fire that night. The sand was really beautiful on Saturday, once the wind calmed down about 10 am. About 5 pm the wind started to howl again and its pretty hard to dutch oven in the blowing sand I'll tell ya that. The wind calmed down about 11pm long enough for a few cocktails :peeps: and a small fire before bed. Crawled out of bed about 9 am and the you guessed it ....The wind was a BLOWIN, again. :beat: But the sand was PERFECT. :ban-split: We were going to stay through Monday but decided it was not going to be worth hiding out in the rigs for another night so we packed up and rolled out. All in all we had a great Dune season and cant really b*tch about one bad weekend of wind. So now its time to enjoy some utah trails for a few months. I guess a bad day at the dunes is better than a good day at work anytime. :old:

  5. sorry to disapoint... the place is not going to last too long. found out that they are paying there employees without any funds.....bad checks.......cant last too long that way.......thats what a little mouse told me...but i could be wrong

:old: That would be a shame but thats the way it usually goes.

    Nothing good ever lasts.... :headbang1:

  6. I went back today for lunch, Couldn't stand it had to get some more of that Q. :whoop:

Lunch was awsome. Half a chicken and half a plate of brisket side of mac & cheese (Excellent)

all for under $10 more than I could finish. Left overs, YEA!!!! :beerpint:

 CORRECTION on that happy hour..... It lasts till 7pm not 6 one more hour to toss em back

perhapse we could arrange a thirsty Thursday at this location......Anyone? :drunks: :headbang1: :peeps:

  7. We have had our dog (Dune) for just over 11 years now. He is a Chow/German Shepard mix. We got him from the pound as a pup and he has been the best pet since day 1. His hips are in bad shape and he falls at times and has a hard time getting back up. His attitude is still great and thats the part that keeps me wanting him around even though I know he is in pain.

I have an appointment on Friday to take him in. I want to be there when they do the procedure but I know I will be a wreck at that time. But I feel I owe it to him for being such a good dog to be the last thing he see's before he goes to sleep.

Am I the only one that feels this strongly about a pet? He is family and letting a family memeber go is so hard to do.

I will post up some pics of him in a while. Just typing this has me all screwed up so I am taking a break for a bit.

You are not alone Tim I feel your pain . I am so sorry to hear about this delima you are in. I had to do the same a couple of years ago with my cocker. I just got down in his face and and spoke to him to his last breath it was tough. We have friends that own the pet cemetary on Lone Mt and the have a real nice program where they will pick up your friend from the vet take a paw print and trim some hair and cremate him put him in a nice container and give you the paw print and hair on a little card keep sake, really kind of cool . I still can walk by his container and have a smile at the thought of his memory, rather than not having him around and eventually having him slip my mind. Again I am sorry about your delima. PM me if I can assist you with contacting my friends buisness. good luck and god speed Dune... :headbang1:

  8. Yesterday the Beckster and I stoped into this new Bar B Q place behind the Galleria mall.

Its called BLUES BAR B Q, formally (The Spagetti Factory) The food was outstanding and the portions were large. Service was excellent. Their claim to fame is, Everything they make is home made, the Brisket was outstanding. They have deep fryed green beans w/ a jalapeno dipping sauce. (KILLER) and best of all, a two for one happy hour between 3 and 6 :beerpint: They even have dos XX lauger on draft

If you love Bar B Q you owe it to yourself to check this place out. :headbang1::thumb:

Just thought I would throw it out there for all you Q lovers to ENJOY

  9. We got there Saturday morning about 7:30 and it was a little windy but would calm down long enough for some killer rides. Sand was great and razors were peaked. Then about 1:00 the heavy wind came and it was put of control! We tried to stick it out for about an hour then we loaded up and headed out. Had to wear our goggles while loading up because it was so bad. It was weird how fast it came all the sudden.

DITTO!!!! the wind at the later part of the day really :barf:
