  1. its actually a quiet hood.. :D The wife was kinda nervous about the riff raff over on boulder highway but i told her that we are far enough away that those bums stay over there :P besides she was all gun ho about buying one of those condo's over there right off boulderhighway.. lol Its all good.. We should know hopefully tonight or tomorrow if for sure its ours as we just gave the emd cashiers check to the fellers..

good luck brother, hope it goes through.

on the neighborhood note.. i grew up on the east side, you shouldn't have any worries really besides, it makes no difference where you live.. the riff raff travels well.

  2. the home was built in 06 i believe so the units arent old.. and im well aware that cooling a 2 story place aint cheap.. at least by the time we move in the heat will be heading out :P close is mid september so i figure by october we will be in and going.. so maybe a month of running the air before its time to crack open the windows and let it flow :P

    there ya go.

  3. Just remember that cooling a 2 story house is very costly.

also on this note as well.. check into the age of the condensing units, furnaces, and evaporator coils. i just had all that stuff replaced at a cost of + $15,000. after 20 years the heat exchangers can crack dangerously. also, see if your condensing units use R-22 or R-410A coolant. R-22 is gonna go through the roof by 2010.

  4. i hear ya folks.. i was born in sicilia, and i speak very little italian. we spoke english at home. nearly everyone on the jobsite is hispanic and speaks very little english.

however, spanish is kinda fun. it's got a funky sound to it. i like it mucho. gracias.

  5. you'd be surprised how many non DDR members are aware of the night run.. i met a guy on the jobsite today who seen my lunch pale (full of atv stickers) and started to converse about quads and dumont, and before i could mention it, he said he'll be at the night run. this occurence has happened more than a handful of times.

  6. I completely agree, but you posted sounding as in you think if the people on this board do those things. I am not going to deny the fact that alot of us get pretty drunk out there at times (AFTER the toys are put up), but I have never seen anyone on here show such irresponsibilty like you mentioned. Maybe I took it the wrong way, but when you mentioned TT that sounded like you were talking about US. :MBdance:

how about this: alcohol is expensive. save money on dune trips by drinking less excessively. =)~
