FireKracker Posted November 30, 2009 Posted November 30, 2009 I got this info 3rd hand so I dont have alot of details, but I heard that there was some duners ticketed for attempting to use fake annual passes. Fines were $250, could have gone to jail, also got dinged for OOS registration stickers, $125 each bike..... stay legit, not worth the hassle!! Quote

lvnalolife Posted November 30, 2009 Posted November 30, 2009 Yeah I talked to the rangers on the way out as they were inspecting my pass. They told me they have been having a problem with counterfeit passes. I am glad I bought mine early at the sand show. I know it is hard for people to justify spending for the annual pass but come on! $120 is all it is to have fun all year. You spend more than that on a nice dinner and a movie. Lets all do our part. britincali Posted November 30, 2009 Posted November 30, 2009 I was offered a fake pass this past weekend, it looks just like the real one apart from a printed hologram vs a real one. $50 was the asking price and even though I dont have one I turned it down. Quote
