1968 Camaro SS396 / 375hp (recreation) 4 speed 12 bolt

This car started life as a dry rust free southwest car and has undergone the transformation into a beautiful SS396 car that can be driven and enjoyed dailey.

The engine is a 68' 396 #3916323, heads are 70' LS6 #3964291 rectangle port, factory rectangle port aluminum intake #3933163, Holley 4bbl. df,dp 800cfm carb, factory mechanical 396/375hp cam, GM HEI ignition, Doug's Ceramic coated headers to full length dual exhaust, big block 4 core radiator

The transmission is a Muncie 4 speed with Hurst shifter bolted to the factory bellhousing

The rearend is a 12 bolt posi with 4.11 gears

The car also features a Vintage Air a/c / heating system, power steering, front disc brakes, original GM sheetmetal (SS hood, quarters, doors, fenders, etc.), Wheel Vintques chrome Rally wheels with BFG radials

The interior features new Houndstooth seat upholstery, carpet, door panels, dash pad, headliner, etc., factory 4spd console with factory gauges, original Tic-Toc-Tac, factory tilt steering column, with Comfort Grip steering wheel, Custom AutoSound stereo

This car can be driven anywhere

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. You just took me down memory lane.I was the proud owner of a White 67 Camaro SS396 33 Years ago. All the way back to my Jr. year in high school. I was remembering the Friday night cruse nights :headbang1: in the summer of '78, back in Indiana.

What great fun I had with that car.

I did notice one very distinct difference with your car compared to mine.....I appears yours has a cassette player instead of an 8-track player. :laughing:
