Mid engine help?

Hi All,

Need help with a new frame that I picked up the other day. So I have a Johnny Speed and Chrome that is cracked in a few spots and I picked up another one and now I have a question on how the motor mounts into this new section. My old frame has a mount that is at the front (back for non mid engine) but this new frame has 2 mounts that are 14 inches apart and no where on the motor has mounts for that. Any help would be great. Type 1 VW engine.

What's the problem with the pics? Does it give you an error message or something? Pics have been uploading with no issues lately for most everyone. Let me know.

Well it does not give me any kind of message, it is just blank like the picture downloaded nothing. I'll try again this time with my phone.

**ok well I tried to do it again and the page just locks up and I have to close the window and open it back up, page is not responding is the message that comes up.**

Here's the pics. They were over 5300 pixels and 4 MB each. That's why they wouldn't load. Way too huge even with our very flexible upload limits.

Looking at the pics seems like you'll need to re-tab the frame.

Emailed him the other day and he got the motor put in. I will get ahold of him and ask him to show pics of it after the install so that other people can see how it was done.

Thank you for posting the pictures I did not realize that they were that big, they were taken from my phone. I am going to manufacture a bracket from the mounting holes to the center of the motor.
