dunefreak Posted September 27, 2008 Share Posted September 27, 2008 Other than almost a few a-holes that were drunk as hell and starting chit w/ us, it was such a good show. Sound was amazing and those guys always put on such an energetic show. It was one of those shows that just sounded so loud and crisp. (Kinda rare for the Joint at the Hard Rock) Fuggin awesome. Way cool that Vegas Style got a pass at the last minute. We had a blast hanging out. Anna's frined came with as well and was so grateful for the ticket. All in all it was a really good night. Well worth every penny of the 70 dollar ticket price. :ah: Here are some pics I took. a few of the best ones first... one of the guys from Yes made an appearance... and the rest... vegas style Posted September 28, 2008 Share Posted September 28, 2008 wow long day at work today. yea its good to have friends in low places couple of good friends are crew with the band. the show was awesome my ears are still ringing. i have seen the foo fighter many times and this was one of the best shows. sounded great and they looked like they were having fun on stage. i was having a great time but would have enjoyed to have taken out BOTH of the drunk a$$hats (kind of out of character for me but sounded like fun last night) sad to see the joint closing think they said 5 more shows. guess they are building a new venue in there new building. Though I do have lots of great memories there! I'd like to go to the last show there, even if it's something like, oh I dunno, AC/DC! I'm kidding, relax... The Foo this time were indeed top notch. The New joint will be around 30,000 square feet, with a real balconey with stadium seating and fa few VIP boxes. I have seen the Plans and the artest renderings it's going to be bad a$$!!!
