  3. I have a sled motor powered 2 seat mini with belt drive and love it. The biggest problem with the belt is heat and of course the sand. The only time I fry a belt is racing up the mtn over and over and not letting the belt cool down. Last year at St.Anthony we were parked next to this rail. If you are familiar with sleds then you will reconize "hymark" on the side. The tranny and clutches were built by the owner Steve Benson.
  4. Last T-Day was my first and only time to Dumont. I had a great time and hope to head out your way again. The ride following Pete around was a blast. btw, I finally got my rail painted. It's hard for me to travel the long distances when LS is only 90 miles from my house and St. Anthony is about 4.5 hours away. Each year I have been going to at least one new dune destination but now they are getting farther away so that might slow down. I have been to Coral Pink but not ridden so that will be my next "new spot" to visit. I like the big weekends. We do about 20 dune trips a year. the pic is last weekend at little sahara
  5. I took these pics a few years back They tried to climb a dune that was a little to steep and didn't turn out soon enough They also spent the entire day getting the tires off and taking them into town to fix/air up and then rented a trailer to tow it home
  6. I just read through this thread and must admit I really did lol.......
  7. nope, the red quad is Brindley's and the purple one is his wife's Misty. there from Idaho here is a pic from the shoots at the base of our mtn
  8. Well I had a Great Time. It was my first trip to Dumont :xmas_cool: After finally finding the DDR camp, I was able to meet up with Pete. We did a rail ride out to the and then play'd at comp. Thanks Pete, It was an awesome ride. It was my only true rail ride since I was the only rail in our camp. Also got to see the "old skool" rails at the flat drags. I've got some video clips that I will post up soon. Here are some pics....
