an rv mat is good, or you could get some astro turf. it helps from people tracking sand/dirt into the trailer....alot. as far as luxury items... i got a gas powered blender for my birthday this year.
-
i have an edge box with juice and am very happy with it....although i only really drive around on level 1 or stock. it is nice too have because i can watch some of the vitals while pullin a load. My friend had a problem with a diablo on the very first drive, trans overheated and slipped...on the freeway. Exhaust and air filter will help alot with mileage and EGT's. my mileage gain was noticed on the first tank of fuel after i did exhaust and air filter.

the alpha liners seemed to sprayed on real thin, which causes alot of problems. i have line-x and no problems

i would much rather have been in GV/Anthem than southern highlands... ohh well.
both of them are conveniently located .... eastern can get a little busy. But nothing compared to the widowmaker aka blue diamond.
-
this really bothers me to see this...i thought i would post up here for the family, even though i don't know them. but hey we are kinda of 1 big family...and would be happy if somebody did it for me.

That is really good to hear! How much power did your motor make at 18? Have you ever had it higher than that?
it makes about 450hp (give or take) at sea level after being detuned. 425hp at salt lake altitude on an engine dyno, and my EM has the parameters to change the wastegate spring up to a 22lb psi spring and still be safe. I have never had it at a higher boost setting as it is more than enough already. I have only ever put it in 4th gear 1 time.
-
My Turnkey 450hp LS1 , 11k on pump gas , My buddy's Outback 450hp Suby, 16k on race gas.
thats y i didn't but an outback motor...mine retalailed fo 12k and puts out about 450hp...on an engine dyno and has better mapping on the engine management
-
I agree with you on the Honda motors especially randogs car, but like I said the suby's gonna cost alot more
the subie doesn't cost that much more...if you take in to consideration to whats involved with a turnkey motor. Redline and Turnkey motors go for about 10k?, my subie motor complete with clutch retails for 12k. my tune is also set up to adjust itself for barometric pressure. It comes down to what you want and what you are willing to spend.

Garrett TA3405 hybrid turbocharger: T04E 57 trim .60 A/R compressor side .63 A/R stage 3 turbine side.
Hopefully it will get the job done!
thats gonna spool real nice....i have a .70 trim and it hits full boost (18psi) at like 4k rpm
-
i spy a new turbo...whatcha got?
-
mostly run the dual disc clutch for pedal feel
-
Rings and pistons are going in along with some head work. I can't wait! 420 sound really good to me! What clutch and CVs are you running? How are they holding up?
Leaving for Dumont in 6 hours!
i am running race prepped 930 cv's with chromoly cages....and the clutch is is a 6 puck dual diaphram. a single disc clutch couldn't handle the hp, it cooked on the engine dyno.
-
I look forward to it.
We are heading out there on Tuesday, so hopefully we will get a day or so of good sand!
Your car has inspired a few of us. I am running a 10 PSI subaru that I WAS really happy with. I have an new STi block on the motor stand in the garage now... The wife isn't happy but I sure will be! When I get back from this trip the motor is going to be torn down and "built", the boost is going way up bro!
I have a friend that has a stock 3.5. It was hard to tell him about your car but I did. After two weeks of listening to his BS, he ordered a turbo kit...
Another friend just installed a 450 hp leading edge Subi in his 2 seater. This car has only what it needs on it and can't be very heavy. Should be fun!
Wish you were headed out again this time! We will meet up again soon. Thanks for the inspiration.
you have a new 2.5 sti block? if so all you need to do is rings and pistons and it will be damn near bulletproof. that is how mine is built and my boost is turned down to 18psi. after my motor was tuned, and turned down it put out 420 hp on an engine dyno up in Salt Lake area. it is a rocket ship. the last trip on halloween i beat 2 twin turbo ls1 cars.
-
The car is a 2006 desert dynamics, heres some more pictures.
is the frame rhino lined/ line x'd?
-
are they using the outback engine or a metric motors engine? btw...front brakes are very nice...do it. and what engine management is it, stinger? white looks good, i saw one last trip out and told my buddy how clean it looked. be different, i did and get compliments. i think you got good taste...

this is a nice rail. I think this is what i want. did they do every thing for you???
i got the trans from a buddy of mine and the complete engine assembly from metric motors in utah. it is alot faster than i intended, but i can always back off the gas. front brakes are def. nice to have as well, glad i did it.
-
had another bad weekend ...... my girl blew the head gasket on her quad 5 min into the first ride. i chunked a front tire on my rail, but my dad brought me one the next day. the new motor in my rail was doing good untill my mendeola 2d popped. i got no luck........

To run an average sized AC unit, you'll want siomething at least 3000 watts. I had a 3000W gennie and it ran everything except for the AC and micro at the same time.
+1 so did I

i have a 32ft WW billet edition and love it...got it at Giant rv in Cali. if you are even thinking about getting the kicker stereo, do it. you can't even buy the components for what the upgrade charge is. i have the upgrade and love it. the billet edition is pretty nice upgrade too...the grey hides alot of dirt. good luck with your purchase
