  1. A few buddies and I are looking for some new faces to ride with. Specifically well experienced/near expert or better bikers (like MX track qualified, gaps, tables, triples, etc.) looking for fast rides not for the faint of heart. Often times we just chill and ride with the slower guys, but once in a while, we like to wring it out if you know what I mean... Anyone??
  2. I have a hand me down but havnt installed it yet. We usually use the small hand helds but the RV trailers like to block the signal. Comes in handy for instant warning of problems (smokeys, something loose on your rig, tire issue) anything you want to instantly let your buddies know about without the cell delay...
  3. Be carefull mom, those things are powerfull, but also very top heavy!! I was VERY surprised to hear you swapping on a twist throttle. Those are usually 90% the cause of a LOOP over on a quad. You have to be carefull of your "grip" so you dont twist more throttle when your weight shifts back under acceleration... A warning to all, DONT TAKE AMARGOSA LIGHTLY!! It may be "small" compaired to Dumont, but its far more DANGEROUS!! The sand is lighter (less traction, steeper hills) and the transitions from hill to flats are VERY abrupt!! You and pops really missed out this weekend, the weather was perfect Sat. and only a little windy Sunday. Rain was light and only at night time...
  4. Yeah it sure was one of the best weekends I can remember. That banshee/r1 is pretty cool, how duneable is it?? Dont sweat it Britt, no body likes me but I still have fun...HAHAHA
  5. Yup, MAD WHEELIES!! Less hooligans, no dust..WOO HOO!!!!
  6. What happend to the "gallery" pics you said were on here?? I told the Cali guys id post some pics of your rig since you guys will be there before me...
  7. Bring it on boyee, ive told you in the past and ill tell you again, lets see how fast it is!! haha
  8. Yup, Nick is right, that was Brit and I. My Fo Fitty is bone stock minus the body plastics and a Uni Filter...I wish I had brought the 500 as well so I could have given Brit a better run!! Dam Nitrous!! (I can get him OFF the bottle)
  9. So people talking about nude rides is ok for kids as long as its not a "wet spot"?? Face it people, the youngins are WAAYYY more experienced then you realize. Any kid who is old enough to read prolly has already heard every swear word in the dictionary. To say a kid knows what a "wet spot" is and not what "nude" means is retarded. Police fairly and CONSISTANTLY for crying out loud. After all sex-ed starts before high school now last time I checked. Consider the commercials and TV shows (even CARTOONS, HELLO!! {Simpson, FAMILY GUY, etc etc} are way worse then anything said in this thread). After all the thread is about STRIPPERS and POLES. If kids would be offended by the content, why is the topic allowed????? Quit picking on people you dont know or dont like and be HONEST and CONSISTENT in your Policing and maybe you will gain some RESPECT about your opinions and beliefs...........
  10. First of all Dumont is by far NOT the only place in these areas to ride. Its simply the most expensive. Secondly did you only join this site to be a troll?? You live in CANADA... No one ever said we wernt going to pay fees and that doing so might get the place shut down. Some of us just think the fees are getting too high...
  11. Thats MESSOCAN, spell it right biyotch!! HAHAHA 26" rims?? :beer_bang: I hope you are just a troll and not serious... If you are serious, you better re-gear it now or start saving up for trannies, and I dont mean the kind we got Down Town!! HAHAHAHA Hope you also plan on keeping that El Camino on assphault...
  12. Hes grounded to the "gina". And its a very short leash... :mischevious: My buddy who just traded his R1 for a Fo Fitty will prolly come out with us...
  13. Keep dreamin homes, it will be the same, me wheelying past you up the hill, just with a smaller gap between us!! HAHAHAHAHA I have to make it up there before Jan 1st to get my season pass or ill loose credit for my past weekly passes... Ill be on patrol friday night till early Sat morning, so im thinking about leaving late Sat and staying the night in your trailer so I dont have to pull mine. You will have to hang out by the fire for a while while the misses and I shag on your bed though...
  14. Your opinion doesnt mean anything, go back to the UK, wanker!!
  15. My mommy and daddy havnt financially supported me since my mid TEENS and im 26. If you guys think I dont have a right to b*tch just because I have not made it to a TRT meeting, eat $hit. I dont have to go to a meeting to prove I know what im talking about. I have all the info i need on the net and its much closer then BARSTOW. Pete, the reason I didnt make the last one, since you ask, I was out of town for my girls B-day so my "mommy and daddy" took our car to save gas. Just to make you happy ill do my best to make the next one. For the record, we were at the clean-up weekend, anyone remember the 6 wheel drive army jeep thing?? We pick up more then our own trash and pull our weight with everyting else appropriate and related to Dumont. So if I cant b*tch without going to a TRT meeting, then I dont want to hear a WORD from anyone who hasnt made a cleanup weekend.
  16. It was a joke holmes, you cant off road in the "Valley". Im just trying to point out theres many places you can ride in the surrounding 150 miles that are either FREE or nearly free and have cleaner (less trash) riding areas with law enforcement and medical NEAR (granted not always on hand). Even the places that you cant "ride" but can camp have all the same things but dont cost as much (not even close). I just would like to see actual PROOF that Dumont costs are so much higher...
  17. LITERALLY!! I like Apex, it has a great mix of skill level and types of terrain. I hope it isnt ruined by the BLM when they develope it. All the drunk idiots with no helmets or gear riding around with their kids and girl friends on their qwads ruin much of the area, unfortunately. We go there whenever we cant make it to Dumont or Armagosa...
  18. Maybe you should do research before calling me ignorant. I have gone to many short track and NASCAR races, the last NASCAR race was about 2 years ago at LVMS thats LAS VEGAS MOTOR SPEEDWAY if you are ignorant yourself. The short track is not bad, much much more entertaining then NASCAR. Skills?? GO FAST.......TURN LEFT.........GO FAST........TURN LEFT HAHAHA lots of skill there!! Nascar (oops) is an ENGINE BUILDERS race. Try anyone of the follwoing if you truly want to watch SKILLFULL racing: MOTO GP WORLD SUPER BIKE F1 SCORE DESERT BAJA 1000 ENDURO CROSS Just to name a few...and those are all for mere mortals, if you are a REAL BAD MOFO and its hard to walk because of your enormous brass bally balls..... ISLE OF MAN!!!!!!!
  19. Ok just to do a little of my own. What about Valley of Fire?? Its $5 and they give you personal camp sites, bathrooms, law enforcement and heck, they even CLEAN UP trash as well...
  20. Uhh, shouldnt that pic be on MY SPACE instead?? HAHHAHA
  21. Armagosa has no toilets, no law enforcement (that I have ever seen) and no road service at all. Its free and is, I would guess 1/4 or 1/5 the size of Dumont. With ZERO maintenance, that place looks the same now as it did ten years ago. If you dial 911 (cell service is no problem) you will have EMTs or a chopper from VERY near by Pahrump in a relatively quick time. If the toilets are so hard to maintain and expensive, do away with them. If the jerky boys cant appreciate what we are all paying for, then get rid of'm!! I personally would rather see the money put into more law enforcement and trash clean up. How about a dumpster ALL THE TIME not just on a clean-up weekend?? Spend some of the money on markers for the main "roads" and kick the idiots OFF that block the roads on big weekends. Thanksgiving was rediculous, people mark off 20 acres a piece and just camp where ever they want. They dont care if there is an obvious "road" between camps they just plop right down wherever they feel which causes lots of people to get stuck.
  22. First of all I dont think youngsters should be at Comp at night. At the very least they should stay waaaay back in the rear by the small dunes. Its just plain dangerous and 90% of the spectaters are just like the Nascar crowd, they are only there to witness the carnage. Most have been drinking since sunrise anyways, including many of the parents who bring their kids out there. I dont think its a great idea for a pole at Comp, but in all fairness its a free country and if they arnt breaking any laws then they have every right to be there as we all do. I do agree keeping it at camp is a way better idea, however. If the pole arrives and you are a responsible parent, just keep your kids away. Just like TV and the Internet, be a friggin parent a SENSOR your kids like you should...
