JODI, I like theses threads. If I don't use the actual tips, it sometimes triggers another idea for a tip that helps in another way. Thats really saying something for the old f*rts deteriating (sp)brain.
We have an extra little generator that we use to run the TV and the smaller stuff as well as keep the batteries charged. Saved alot of of money in gas.
I watched a thing on TV last week on RV tip, their tip was to put a light coat of dish soap on the front or your rig and then wash it of when you get to your destination, helps get the bugs off easier. Will try this one in Sept.
As for Charlie if he doesn't have it he can come up with something that might help. Very creative at times.

That's also why you put your inverter (12V to 120V) as close as possible to your batteries, less than 5' and you still need big cable like jumper cable minimum. A length of conductor will have a certain voltage drop, 1-2 volt drop from 120V is nothing but from 12V is a problem.
That would have to be a nevermind, you'd have to know the source of that information.
It can only be blue extention cordS
-
that brings a whole new light to these pictures
Charlie said thanks again for those. And now I'm hot!!!! oh baby
-
Charlie just reminded me; the best way so save electricity and ware and tear on your generator is to use short blue extention cords then the power doesn't have to travel so far.

Instead of using your lights inside all of time, put a bunch of those LED votive candles. Battery operated and last for ever. I put all over the MH. Nice ambient light is all ya need to go wee wee or grab something real quick. The battery candles come in all different sizes and colors.
I got some small motion lights and set them against the wall on the floor everytime we get up in the night the come on and after a few minutes they go out.
Jodi, those clips work great when the sun is comming right in the bedroom window in the morning, I hang a bath towel up with the clips and cover the windows, helps when you want to sleep in.

Just saw an rv tip on a destination show on TV. The tip for bugs is to put a light coat of dish soap on with a rag and then when you get to where your going just wash it off. Sounded good
Guess I'll try it in Sept. and see if it works. Can't hurt to try it.

We might have the same views, we just can't remember what they are.

I sit in a little shack all by myself on a corprate computer with a 120 ft scale in front of me selling dirt, sand and rocks. The wonderful smells in my enviroment consist of grease, diesel exhaust and dust. All I hear is the sound of semi engines, air brakes and 100 ton dump trucks!! Oh ya I'm just a dirt worm! I work in it and play in it.

Is that what you're doing with the McDonalds straw also? :stir:
Geez, you people didn't know they use Mickey D's straws cause they are bigger in diameter and they also use slurpee straws for the nice LITTLE spoon on the end?
I guess those drug preventions classes paid off after all. I actually learned something
