  1. Charlie's little weather station recorded 42mph wind last night. Could hardly open the door without the wind trying to take it off the hinges. Got up this morning and had about 6 inches of sand blown in around the bikes and trailer tires. It was hitting the windows with a constant tap tap tap ! Sure was nice this morning though.

  3. First and formost I'd like to thank Mike, Beth (hot pocket)and her boy friend for the great Sierra samich! Can't thank you guys enough for helping us out!! That was really ugly before you came. Funny now but not then.

Good weekend, got to meet some new people and saw some that we hadn't seen in awhile. Beth you can burp better than ANYONE I have ever met!! Good girl! I really need to hone my skills.

Got Charlie to try Jager, me I'm the 3 second drunk, thanks Mike for pointing that one out.

All in all it was a great weekend, lots of sleep, good food and my daughter came out with her husband and my grankids.

  4. Got nuthin, Charlie and I don't do x-mas we just give to the kids and grandkids. Don't do Anniv. or B-day either. If you want it, go get it yourself nobody knows better what you want than yourself. Make sense?

Besides "I HATE SHOPPING" Takes me 3 days just to work up the grocery store!!

  5. Already have 2, My niece sells this stuff. Really nice you can change the scent when ever you want so your not stuck with the same one all the time.

:dope: I think she is my niece. I only have 1 nephew and she is married to him I guess that makes her my niece?

This really is good stuff, even my grumpy hubby likes it.

  6. Visited Chris today.

BS'n with him, you would have no idea he was ever hurt. :dope:

He's progressing fast considering the extent of his injury.

He walked with some help and a walker 50feet today. :hello:

He looks great, sounds great and couldn't have a better attitude. :dope:

There is definitely a lot of work ahead for him :undecided: , but his dedication should carry him to a full recovery. :dope:

Great to spend time with the Grimdart. Jiah. :dope:

Keep up the great work bro. :thumb:

    R-

Really glad to hear it Randy!! Is that his official screen name now? "GRIMDART"

  7. Talked to one of the boys earlier, at this point they are in a motel room and don't have any place to put anything. They are looking for a place to rent right now. I have told them that there is help available when ever! Until they here some news they can't even get into the shop to see what tools they might be able to salvage. No tools for a mechanic means a mechanic has a hard time rebuilding his buisness cause he can;t work on the vehicles, hense a tough road.

To everyone I thank-you for the offers and will pass on the offers, along with our own.

  8. Not alot of people know that Charlie has twin boys that live in North Pole, Alaska. And yes they do take after their father, when they are all 3 together I just run for cover!(seriously). anyway the day after Thanksgiving they had a fire at their business/house. A total loss! 4 adults and our 5 grandkids ( 6mo.-9 yrs)lost everything in a major fire at 1 AM in 15 degree weather. The boys got everyone out and then called 911. Everyone is fine other than it's kind of a kick in the head to have everything you've worked so hard for destroyed right there in front of you.

Just always remember to appreciate what you have no mater if it's a little or alot you could loose it in a minute! KEEP YOUR FAMILY CLOSE, LOVE AND APPRECIATE THEM ABOVE ALL.

4,000 or 5,000 miles away really stinks! :thumb:
