I don't think the cam installed will take it, although, a big bore kit just might. A quad and a half isn't much. Although, either just might. Is it worth $300 to talk more sh*t and laugh all day long it just might be Two words comes to mind with your four quad theory "fuzzy math" You can't add the quad leading, then the space, then the last quad. I am not lying. I may be a lot of things (a-hole included) but not a liar. Sad day when you need a camera to prove a point. What do I have to loose to say it was one, two, or even four quads? Nothing. Although, Bob's raptor should have done better and didn't! Funny, I recall someone saying "wow, thought that Raptor would have done better than 1-2 quads against the grey one. I figured it would beat the red one like it did though." Anyway, Bob is correct on only THREE issue. 1.He did beat both of my quads. 2. He beat my '05 by three-quads (could have been four it was close). 3. Yamaha is a girls bike, my daughter owns one. Look at my signature. In conclusion, never did he beat my grey one (2004) by four quads. Never. Thus we will have to agree do disagree. PS. While your putting your other Raptor back together in the garage today (are you supposed to put it on jack stands after each ride? Are you supposed to tear the motor down after each ride? Is this a Yamaha thing?), make sure to use lock-tight. Tired of picking up parts when we ride.

Getting beat by 1.5 quads isn't "whipped severly". A 660 beating a 500 is normal as someone stated "40% more power". Not bad IMHO.

Interesting, all the shoot outs I saw saw different. I would do some research as I have and see what you come up with. I live at 4,000 ft asl and I notice only a small about of black smoke after 4" exhaust was installed and none really with stock.

5hp is a lot. I heard 3hp to the rear tires. But, that is 10% in most cases which is good
