No, not too many people, I saw Iamacyclopseeatme and three dudes that drove from LA on Thurs nite came and camped next to us. They were pretty cool younger guys, we did a nite ride then had drinks afterwards. We rode again in the morn too then they left. I think the most people on the dunes at any given time was like 7 that was including me, my wife, and the three LA dudes. Grey

I also had a great time until Fri night. I saw a stuck Honda Ridgeline truck so me and the wife went to investigate to see if they needed help. Once I got closer I also saw a quad, when I got closer I saw the quad was totaled in the front. Then I unfortunately saw the white sheet, helmet and feet sticking out and realized it was a body. Terrible thing to see. We went back to camp after that. Here is a link, I had to find out what happened, I still don't know exactly what happened or if the truck I saw was involved at all. Wife is down, so I'm taking the motorhome. Looks like we are gonna tough it out and get there thurs night. Night ride that night, ride early fri morn, fri night, sat morn and leave on Sat around 11 so we can watch the UFC. See who ever shows up there. Grey..... Maybe Sat early morning, leave at like 4 in the morn. Iwas thinking about going to Coral Pink cuz it won't be so hot and I have never been there. But it's like 6,000 FT MSL and my jetting will probably be off, and I couldn't get a campground. The lady at the reservations place told me the campground was full but you can camp in the meadows and ride to the dune area anywhere else you have to trailer it. SO it sounds full to me unless I got there on Thurs AM and kinda late to get everything ready by then. Grey

I was thinking about going. I called to reserve a spot but it was full. Can you ride directly to the dunes from your spot? I have never been there, the lady told me you can only ride to the dune area from the campground or the meadows. Anywhere else you have to trailer is that true? Grey........

Well I just got my motor in my TRX running again and I really wanna ride this thing. Tried to get Pismo reservations too late. Is anyone going to Dumont on the 4th weekend? Grey.....

I may be going out there. I have a 06 TRX 450R, and I just got new paddles, so I'm not sure if I can wait til the 18th/19th to go with a friend. But I am also thinking about Armagosa, I have never been to either. Grey....................
