Was one of the best dune trips in a long time. Great weather, great scenery, and some awesome dune runs led by Pete. Too bad it was a short weekend, could have used a few more days out there.

Well since I have to work Friday/Saturday AND my wife & bro-in-law both work on Thanksgiving day, I've decided to bring my mom & sister out to the dunes for the day and join my dune family for the feast. It will be their first time to the dunes...ever! I'm pretty stoked and so are they. I plan on bringing my car to get a few runs in as well.

no one tried yet? It does crash a little on my phone but other than that I have downloaded a few apps for free.. they dont charge for any of them.. I cant believe no one has tried it yet.. if you dont like it just delete.. it was given to my by a friend that is a manager for Verizon..

There was a bad accident on the north end of the dunes on Fri. late afternoon, Not sure exactly what happened but it looked Like 2 motorcycles were involved. Saw the rangers heading over there fast and went to check it out, Saw the paramedics doing CPR on one guy, got a bad feeling and didn't feel like watching. Went back to camp and about 15 min later the fire pickup came out of where they were still doing compressions on him. One of the rangers said the helicopter was coming in, took that as a good sign but heard later he didn't make it. Very sad........

Same one I've had for the past 6 years. Big ol' heavy 4 seat Extreme that don't turn for $hit. LOL
