  1. i hope i have it right , my info is from cbm, they say the truck intake provides longer runners with its heighth and creates more tourqe . the dis advantages are you have to change your pulley system ( i think) and the water pump. i know for sure going the other direction its a must .

i might know someone. who will go straight across his complete system for your complete system.

quite honestly, the cheapest way to pull a real benificial power. is to do the head /cam changeout.

high tourqe cam , and cnc heads would give you an honest 50 to 75 hp gain depending on the type of cam you can raise the tourqe 40/ 65 ft pnds. for about 2,500

capt 6.o really woke up in the playtech car with a simple cam swap and computer tune. dont quote me but i believe it was right at 1500. << capt can be more exact.

either one you get your car dyno tuned to match your combo.

bruce told me that is the cheapest bang for the buck

the 10 extra or so ft pnds tourque from the truck intake is really not a whole lot noticable.

faster daddy ran the truck intake we thought it was the only upgrade and was impressive

but as it turns out it was a glenns ls1 motor and had higher compression heads on it. :call cruce at cbm

I have the cam and heads Bob's talking about from CBM. It dyno'ed 408hp 410tq. to the ground, that's somewhere around 520ish at the crank.

  2. I don't think I could put the truck intake on because the air filter intake hose would not clear my wing.

You can turn the intake around if you have clearance.

  4. Trying to plan a trip there sometime soon and wondered if anyone has been there and knows a few details about the RV camping and when is the best time to go.

I really get worried showing up to a place i paid a good amount of money for and end up not liking the spot and hate to try and find another while I am up there..

I am sure I cant go wrong with the locations of the campgrounds but what about the layout of the camping area, the general area it is located and the people who run the campground.

Also if I have to reserve ahead and what ever helpfull info anyone can tell me.

I really appreciate any help I can get..Thanks

We stayed here when we went about 4 years ago. It's right on Hegben lake and of the beaten path, I think the dirt road is about 5 miles but not any worse then Dumont's entrance. It's real close to Yellowstone, and it's a nice forresty campground, I would stay there again if we go back.

  5. What a awsome trip, the weather was great, it was good to hang out with all the all the DDR peeps and man it was nice to get back on the hill after all those years :mc:

Pete thanks for taking Juan out to the hill and all the beer.

DuNePrEd and Elduner thanks for the taco's they were awsome :beat:

Al the brisket was also awsome, thanks for that

Can't wait for the season to start!!!!!!

  6. i need a buggy so i can stop driving like an a-hole on the street and take my aggressions out in the sand.. a direct quote from randingle LOL

The only problem with that is your always reaching for the turning break around corners :beercheers: when you drive back on the steet.

  7. I'm coming home from Pismo that day, I'm really gonna try to make it.

It's been a long while since I've had my quad out and just finished dusting the cob webs off, man it's amazing all the stuff that breaks while sitting in the shed :beer_bang: So if you see this quad come and say what's up.

Here she is all nice and clean and tuned up :beercheers:
