and dune smurf sues for peace .

check in next week when you'll hear pete say "WTF" and isbb says " this thread must die doctor"

    :dunno:

Now that's funny! Will Kitcat and hubby survive their first trip to Dumont in their new rig? Will they use up the holding tanks??? LOL!!! I'm going to Bob's camp for coffee!!! :driver:

  2. Next time try one of your friends that have a pole. Maybe he knows. I've got a better place than poles & holders.. It must be that I live in North town..... People from North town couldnt possibly know about such things.

Yeah, well some of my friends give me a hard time!!! And, we don't venture to that part of town very often. LOL! Mark is going to LOVE the flag and light I got him!!!

Hey, are you guys still planning on going President's Day weekend??? We don't have any hooligans coming with us. Even Joe got his own rig!!! Thank goodness because we tested out the rig locally and the black tank fills up quickly. Yellow is mellow - brown is down!!! LOL!!!

Hey, we just got a shipment of attire from rockymountainatv.com today!!! More clothes to match and look cool at the dunes!!

    :dunno:

  3. kelly's right on---we also use a wash tub for what little dishes there are and PAPER PLATES,CUPS,AND PLASTIC UTENSILS. thats the only way to go. i love costco :D

LOL - my husband's a manager at Costco, so I have my own personal shopper!!! We have tons of paper plates and plastic cups. We even use them at home.

    :D

  4. I have checked the sensor accuracy by using a hose and timing how long it takes to fill a gallon container. then put the hose in the toilet or tub and time how long it takes for each sensor to come on. good idea to shut water off at each light to let the turbulence settle. You can gauge how much room you have left. I did this with the fresh water tank and found out it was 120 gals not the listed 100 gals. When my fresh water sensor indicates 1/3 left, it has 60 gallons.

We also use water like it costs $5 a gallon! conserve,

    \

Yeah, we're going to have to really conserve when we're at places like Dumont where there's no hook ups. Do they have anyone that offers dumping services out there???

  5. I agree with Pete, and if you're not level, the readings will be off too! Sounds mighty small for a black tank. We carry 100gal fresh, 40 each black and gray on a 33 footer. Never read full on the black yet, (came close Thanksgiving; had guests too) fresh said empty at the end of T-day weekend, but kept pumpin' water anyways. Our gray does fill up, especially on extended weekends....when the bathtub won't drain, that's a sure sign!!

In answer to your question, yes, you can buy 'auxillary' holding tanks. We have been considering adding additional gray storage to ours. But in the meantime, I conserve by using a wash tub in the kitchen sink, dump it in a hole outside or into the black tank. I try to wash as few dishes as possible, but there's always some to do, especially cookware. We also utilize the outside shower nozzle for the really messy stuff. Oh, and I keep plenty of sanitizing hand wipes on board for the anal son...much less running of water that way!! :D

We checked and we were pretty level. When we go to Dumont, we're going to use only use paper plates & plastic utensils. I cook everything and store it in plastic containers, so all we have to do is heat up our food or grill it. Last time we went to Dumont, my hubby used the outside shower to wash his hair!!!

    :thumb:

  6. Are you sure they filled up? I say this because the sensors are always inaccurate and causes the moniter to read full. This is because all the crap (literally) that gets on the sensors in the holding tanks. :woo_hoo: :mischevious:

Yeah, my husband looked down the hole of the black tank and it looked pretty full. I also learned that he likes to fill up the bowl more before going #2. Plus, I think there had to been water in the tanks prior to us getting the rig from the dealer. They probably ran their checks and didn't dump the tanks. We didn't look at the light sensors before we headed out. Thank goodness we did this test run. I told him to pee outside on Pres Weekend!!! It'll just be the 2 of us (another excuse to not bring "friends"), so that'll help, but we'll be there from Thursday - Monday.

  7. Hey all, Last Thanksgiving we were at Comp. Hill with a stripper pole.

There was no nudity but the BLM and Sherif shut us down saying we needed a permit.

Anyone heard of this ? Or where i could get information/permit ?

I think Comp is overrated! I'd rather stay at camp and have fun!!!

    :thumb:

  8. I really could care a less about a stripper pole one way or the other. weather there is one at comp or not wont change the fact that at night comp is full of crazy drunk people no matter what, one will see drunken idiots doing stupid stuff. I have never seen it set up @ Comp, but I have seen drunken idiots being drunken idiots there every single night I have been there.

SKYLLER!!!!!!!!!!!! Get a dictionary or spellcheck or something :mischevious: :smoker: it's hard to be taken seriously when your posts are full of typos and misspelled words. Sorry dude but it makes you look less than smart :thumb::thumb::woo_hoo:

privet = private  accualy= actually

This is really funny! You're criticizing Skyller and you have a typo in your post! Weather = Whether (in the context you used it).

Okay, I'm not trying to be a spell checker, but this was too funny to pass up!!! :hump:

  9. Does anyone know if you can either add or make your holding tanks bigger? We just went out in our new Raptor 3018 TT and our black and gray tanks filled up quickly. The black tank is 28 gallons and the gray is 39 gallons. It concerned me because we're supposed to be self contained on President's Day. I haven't had a chance to ask the dealer about this yet.

    :laughoff:

  10. i got a 22' with the ramp mount. havent put it on yet but i have a enclosed trailer so i have a lot of options. i know there are a few others on this site that have the flags and holders. see if you get a few more responces from people with haulers.... it only took 2 day to be shipped to my house...

I called Poles & Holders and ordered it over the phone. Doing that saved me over $20 because the shipping is less than how they have it set up on the internet. Very cool! I got the ramp mount. They suggested it, so I'll go with what they suggest. I got a blue RV locator light, Coors Light flag and the 22 ft pole. This is for my hubby for his birthday. He's going to be very surprised!!!

    :thumb:

  11. I have the 16ft ladder mount from polesandholders. Great products, stands up well to wind!! Id buy from them again. :thumb:

Do you have any issues with it? Does it affect your ladder? I just want to make sure I get the correct item. I'm getting this for my hubby for his birthday, which will be during Pres Day weekend!!!

  12. i just picked up a flagpole flag and lights from www.polesandholders.com fast shipping nice products good prices. i know there was a thread about this a few weeks ago i dont know if anyone else posted any other places.

I'm on that website right now!!! What size pole did you get? What kind of mount? I was looking at the ladder and ramp mount. Not sure which one would be better.

    :offtopic:

  13. Looks like you probably already registered your rig. We just did ours (for a whopping $620)! Yikes!!! We got plates that read: ATVBOX

Some other ideas we had were:

    SNDTOY

    TOIBOX

    ATVTOY

    BIGBOX

    RAPTRR

The guy at the DMV thought we were a little crazy with all of our personalized plates. My SUV is CATCRZE, my husband is MONSTR and our flatbed trailer is ATVN.

    :drinkbeer:

  14. Give me those NASCAR tickets and I promise you I will stay away from Dumont that weekend. Especially since I have to miss the Fontana race due the race 2 of the 4SCS. I've gotta hit the first big race since the reconfiguration. Sorry, that probably didn't answer your question.

    Hook a brutha up!

I forgot about the reconfiguration! My company sponsors car #11, so Nascar will be an even bigger deal this year. Esp since our driver got Rookie of the Year last year. Still not sure what we're going to do. Last year was really cool. We watched the race from the pit.

  15. Do you understand the maintence schedule and checking of the valves on a KTM or Honda?? Both are pretty much the same. But they are not even close in the time it takes to do them. I can do mine with the tank and shrouds on the bike. I can do mine in about 20-30mins. Can you say that about the honda? I'm not the fasest by any means nor am I the Best. I just know that you and I are talking about 2 totally different things.

No worries bro. Both bikes are awesome!

KTM's suck! Yamaha and Honda are much better!! HAHAHA - J/k! I had to razz you!!! :stirthepot:

  16. How busy or dead is Dumont on Nascar weekend? My hubby got the time off and we're thinking of not going to Nascar and going to Dumont instead.

Also, can't wait for President's Day! Hubby will be turning 35 that weekend and it might be the first weekend at the dunes with our toy hauler!!!

    :stirthepot:

  17. I got my MBRP exhaust WITH a CAT delete pipe from THESE guys, very good exhaust and good sound even WITHOUT a CAT! gOOd LuCk...

My hubby ordered te exhaust and air bags from 4 Wheel Parts. They did the lift on our truck and on our last truck, too. We tightened up the weight distribution on the hitch and boy did it make a difference! We're still getting the air bags, just in case!!
