Nov 1-3rd. But in Glamis
-
Terry-
I do the reminder once and a while in the shout box. I start mine every few weeks.

Look on craigslist for hopper passes. People rent them out for as little as $50-$75 for both parks.
Or if that scares you, AAA has a deal where you basically buy the passes and you get free parking.

Thought I would bump this thread back up. I bought a ND (Neutral Density) filter off EBAY and went out to the beach at sunset to try it out. These are between 15 an 30 second exposures. The waves were about 3 feet also. This filter makes the water appear flat. Gonna play with this filter in different locations.
The filter is adjustable and takes a bit of getting use to but I like the results so far.
These were touched up a bit in lightroom also.

Curious as to how they got it started? Alarm? Maybe some of us can learn from this one and keep our trucks safe.
Glad it was found quickly.

What about the mattress? Any stains? I like hot air balloons....

I am in. I will need to crash in someones hauler if they don't mind as I will be bringing my truck for just a quick weekend ride.

I will pay you and have one of the local guys pick it up and hold on to it for me.
-
I guess the generator is sold? I would still take it if you have it.

If it is bolted on I suggest you weld it on. Cat's are being stolen all the time. My dads was stolen last year. He said it scared the crap out of hime when he started his Tacoma at 6am!
-
Maybe it was staged that way. If they got a beater and then got hooked up for exhange for services later. All these seem to benefit others that are already hooked up somehow. Never just a jo-blow getting something sweet like this.

Can I ask if He has accepted the fact that he's going bald and didn't wear a hat or bandana?? lol
HEY! Watch the going bald remarks!!

It's because there is no pressure. It's a vacuum. The fuel system when running is normally pulling 3-5" of vacuum. There is no lift pump on these trucks.
Ok, now I understand. I will pull it off and redo it.
-
Thats what I was thinking too (not properly seated). I will pull it off and re-install it. It was just baffeled on how air can get in but fuel doesn't leak out under pressure. It is on 04 LB7

Nevada Day--- I don't see that on my calendar. Oh wait, I am in California!! Eff your Nevada Day!

I have a question- What would cause the fuel system to lose pressure after sitting a few hours. Truck would start then immediately turn off. I have to prime the system by pumping the primer then it runs fine. This just started and it never did this till I installed the new adapter.
I am not here to bag on the product at all. It might be something totally unrelated. I don't see fuel leaking but I know the Duramax has had a few problems with that primer system and hairline cracks. Just looking for help.

Already did that. Put one of my other ones back in the back of my truck with the WIF sensor "just in case".

No big deal on the filter issue. It went on and works like you said. I don't know if it is just me but the motor seems to run smoother on the freeway.
-
He forgot a few things-
You can drive it- Barefoot. It's powered by Del Taco. You must show a$$crack if your the new owner (please be a girl though) .
Bob- Hate to see you sell this but I hope things work out for you in the long run. Your still my favorite black man on here.

Thanks, I put it in yesterday. Real easy install. I noticed the idle fluctuated after the change over. Drove it to work today and it went away. I will post more in a day or two on how it goes.
One thing I noticed but it didn't effect anything- When installing the new fuel filter it was hitting the side of the motor just a bit. It didn't hinder anything but the filter didn't just screw on easily, I had to help it out. Other than that I was happy with the whole thing. Too pretty of a piece to hide on the side of the block like that.

I will save that weekend. Sounds like it will be a good turnout.
