what i dont quite understand is why you quoted me and make mention of "aniggeration" ?? as you put it. it certainly wasnt me that wrote that. but i am concerned that you think i wrote that cause i most certainly did not. i checked twice to see if i did but i spell it anaugeration and its likely incorrect. but i wouldnt spell it that other way.

Just because some jokes have "racial" humor in them, that doesn't make a person a racist. They are just jokes that shouldn't be taken so damn serious. Besides, a couple posts ago I thought we basically agreed to leave the jokes out of this "serious" political topic (until bob's wetback comment- come on bob!). Maybe we shouldn't even talk about politics either since some might get offended if someone has a different opinion.

our gsxr lt 250r runs 68mph up banshee and we haven't done anything but change the oil! you can have 2-strokes and re-building them all the time.

I want to go faster than 68mph and I don't have to change oil.LOL

My sat finds the signal but I need help programming the box and telling the box to see the satalite signal.. direct tv is real easy plug and play but I am confused on its set up.... any help would be great

He does have a fast 4 stroke and a even faster dune bike.

The power to weight ratio of a 2 stroke is hard to beat. I've done some numbers and on the low end I'll be around 200hp and the high end will be 250hp. It will likely be a 500lb bike though. I'm shooting for a gearing combo that will yield 80-85mph. I suspect that will be very competive with a 12mil.

Who knows what guys really run in their bikes, but with my stock R1 I beat guys claiming to have 10mils and been beaten by guys claiming to have 10mils, so who knows.

The motor is in the frame now and I'm working on the turbo plenum as we speak. I would like to have it done for the night drags.

I wish I would be out there when you guys line up with the banshees.I have never seen any 4 strokes or motorcycle motor bikes line up with the fast banshees.

A drag banshee will weigh about 250lb.

A 12 mil will run 80+ on the left side and 90+ on the right side of the hill.

I think the builder has alot to do with how fast the bike is. You might beat some slower 10 mils.

I have seen 12 mils beat some 18 mils but they won't if they are from the same builder.

A 150lb rider helps.

That true, if a street bike powered quad is going to keep up with any thing above a 12 mil it is going to need a turbo on it and that can cost from 3-6K for the kit.

how much money do you think it would cost to build a 24 mil banshee with all the extras; drag frame, axel, suspension, arms, built 24 mil engine that bored out, pipes, ect. I truly mean building a banshee that is extremely fast! How much?

I know a 20 mil motor is 11000+

Rolling chassis 4 to 6000 used.

It takes alot more money to make a 4 stroke fast.

I am not knocking 4 strokes,but they can't run with 2 strokes.

It depends who builds the Banshee motor on how reliable they are.

I checked the oil and it has some antifreeze in it. Would it be a head gasket? I was going to sell it and I need a guess on what it is.Also what it would cost to fix.

We need a list of who is bringing what lights wise, im briging the nitrous bike so without lights im fuked.

Im gonna bring a 3500 watt genny, 50 ft extension and one 500w halogen. We are gonna nee a ton more extensions, more lights, straight gas and probably another genny so we can set one up at the base of the hill and one half way or so.

We are going to rent a set of lights.I don't want any donations because I will be leaving around 11 or 12.

I think the lights are 4000 watts.

how much are they to rent?

I'd bring the bike with the light. I haven't heard as of yet that anyone is planning on bringing any lights out. I probably would if I had access to some and wasn't already pulling a trailer out, but that's not the case. The BLM has told me it wouldn't be an issue if we had some. The only reason it would be looked at as an organized event is if we were charging/ collecting money or holding some kind of "contests".

Maybe we can use some of the trucks' headlights like we did last August. ??

It is not something that is complicated, I just don't want to have to keep repairing it. So I need a good fab guy that can fix it for good. Thanks in advance.......
