so here are the rusults. I tried the 6 padle brats today out on the dunes. I think everyone agrees that with the straight paddle, you sacrifice turning ability. This is very true. I was running sand skat II's before, and now there is alot of understeer. It is easier to break it loose with a few more psi though. The tire is still duneable but you have to get used to the way the bike handles now. One good charastic is that riding on the steep sides of hills is much easier. Sliding down sideways is greatly reduced. This is a big plus for me.
As for the drags; These dont have as much bite as the skates due to having 2 less and smaller paddles. After about 30 feet though, they really take off, speed up the hill is greatly improved. I assume this is due to the fact that they are extremely light, have less paddles, and are an inch taller in diameter.
Overall, I like the tire. A good way to describe would be, "these made me faster, not quicker" Even while duning, I was faster. Although you do lose a little of that "throw you off the seat" feeling from a dead stop.
Motoxman keep fighting.
You had to be right because nidan450 likes them. :stir:

You are right junkie I could never be as good as you.
I owe you a BIG APOLOGY
I admit my sandrail is a piece of CRAP. It could of never cost anything like your toys.
The 2 drag banshees are very slow even in a straight line.
The other 2 quads are crap and slow.
The diesel pusher is an old crappy motorhome, that I cannot afford.
But I at least know that a diesel pusher is a motorhome instead of a truck.
I did raise my kids wrong.I should of raised them to be like you.
I wish maybe you could teach them to be like you.
I have no money and will probably have to sell my stuff.
I hope you can accept my apology and maybe help me or buy some of my crap.
I live in an old shack that is ready to fall down and I owe more than its worth.
I have plenty of room in my small garage. If you ever buy a sandrail maybe I could store it for you.
I know that would be a big step but I would be so honored.
I have learned that even if my family is attacked I will never say a word.
I have learned so much from you that I feel like a real loser.
I will never attack you again PLEASE ACCEPT MY APOLOGY.
Thanks Pat
ps Please remember the needy at xmas

My bud has the white one, 1300 Hayabusa turbo charged. We radared him at 97 mph on one pass.
We beat the blue one and we only run 79 mph.
-
ahhh don't worry about him, he's just an azzhat in training!.......
but dumont is a "ride at your own risk area" I had to dodge people left and right because they weren't following the "rules of the road" I.E. drive on the right..... My rule of thumb while riding out there is "watch for everyone else, cause they're not watching for you"
but getting hit while sitting still is just rediculous (sp?) unfortunately the FEW BLM and Rangers out there have to worry about a couple thousand people on a busy weekend and have to pick their battles....
just like if you were doing 15mph over down a road and a cop see's you, then see's someone run a red light or swerving like their drunk, the cops gonna pull them over instead because they are more of a danger to a majority of people.
If i were you, I would have chased down the person that hit you, got his information.....or more likely talked to their parents and got their information and either handle it on the side, or through small claims court.
but thats just my
I was moving but my point is if at camp or in the dunes you have no recourse.
He was a adult and said he was wrong but without a accident report I believe what the sheriff said.
It will be hard to prove he was wrong. The friendly ranger asked if I could see a sign saying he could not cut across the opening.

YEAH! And whats with all that sand? I got that stuff everywhere...in my shoes, my ears, my nose...
Get over it guys. This is nothing new. Stay home on the big holiday weekends. Those kind of people don't ever change.
Sorry if it sounds like I am whining about a little thing like the sand out there.I have probably $3000 damage. My Point is how we were treated and I still think you should be Responsible for your actions.
When you are sitting at comp hill and someone hits you and says sorry I will bet you might whine too.

no not fast ,but banshees are old news.........loser
probably a two stroke guy.
A two stroke guy will never be a loser, especially to a four stroke guy.

I was idling through the corridor to Banshee hill. The traffic was very heavy coming and going. A quad came cross traffic and broadsided me.I sent my son after the rangers. When they showed up they assumed I was in the wrong. All they were interested in was the story from the quad driver.
I wanted a accident report. They said it was a accident and there was no one at fault because there are no LAWS.They were rangers from Oregon. They said to exchange info and take it to civil court.
CHP officers showed up with the court tv cameras and said the same thing.Drive how you want there are no laws.
The next day we went to county sheriff. They said they are here for public relations,CHP is for fatalaties,BLM do not like us and would like to see us all leave.
They said to take it to civil court but we would probably lose because there are no laws unless there is alcohol involved.
They said you enter at your own risk. My Question is why are people getting tickets when there are no laws.

Steve just installed my alarm system. Do not wait until you have a break in like I did. :shout:

your education is important. please put more effort into it for your own sake. congratulations on finding the bikes, i think.
Give my grandson a break!!!! He is 13 and maybe a little excited and a little tired from a long day.And about education you start a sentence with a capital letter.

I work as a Pit Boss and if you want to play, try to find a casino that lets you split and double and stands on a soft 17. Play basic strategy and play for fun
