Gee, now I think I'm gonna have ditch that Friday too so I can make sure the Dini-fire is adequate on Thursday night. I got wood already...for the fire I mean.

I could cruise around as a sort of rolling dumpster/collection point. I'm kinda easy to spot. My trailer is a 5x8 open bed, I can rig up solid sides on it by then if necessary. The 5x10 bed of my truck can hold quite a few too.

Now THIS is more like it.

I'm sure even the 'less than positive' responses are tongue-in-cheek. Mine was anyways. I'll even step out there so far as to say anyone here would get quite a kick out of being in ANY magazine, except the few in the Federal Witness Protection Program, and those just plain WANTED by the law. :gayboy:

I'll be there with plenty of room to haul folks and/or trash bags.

I've got a 5x8 trailer I pull behind my ride for local cleanups. I'll drag it along for this one too. It'll work nice for recovering any of your itty bitty quads that run into trouble.

It will never happen but...what they ought to do is pass out one big trash bag marked "Dumont Dunes" to every vehicle as they come in. Then, when you check out...turn in a FULL bag and get a coupla bucks as a rebate on your fee. Sure, some folks would probably just use them for camp trash, but it might encourage a little more thought before littering, even with such a meager incentive. Now, what to do with the mountain of trash bags at the entrance? A more practical idea...get permission to put up a dozen temporary signs (like those annoying little 'new home' signs that pop up all over Vegas every weekend). Once past the entrance, I didn't see anything about carrying out trash or littering. Awareness on the way in can lead to surprising results.

I thought that was ... en garde?

Do folks ride around on their rails/quads and pick up the trash, or might a 'troop transport' be useful?

I just want to shout a THANX to Dinicolada, Dinicolady, and the rest of their group for making a quad-ignorant fella feel welcome within their camp circle this weekend, my first time EVER on a quad. All I can say asides all that is...I GOTTA GET ME ONE OF THESE!!!
