  1. i have never taken a honda axle out, but have done a few yamahas. is your axle out of the carrier already? if the honda axle is anything like the yamaha axle it has to be out of the carrier before the sprocket hub will come off. once the axle is out, the sprocket hub should slide off of the splines to the right side of the axle. once again this is how a yamaha is so i hope this helps. don't bang on anything.

  2. It's all good, Chuck. You guys can camp over with us if you want. It's not too far from that spot that we were at last weekend. :headbang1:

you got it pete. we will be rolling in friday night sometime. i will just use the mushroom clouds to guide my way.

  3. me and the wife will be out there. we will be heading out with ocean03 as usual. last weekend was our first weekend camping by crapper #6. i think we will be camping there from now on. we will be hanging a little more with ddr this trip, besides just bumming wood and putting sandy weiners on passed out faces.

  4. hey, high octane junkie, I think I saw you towing that quad with the Rhino. We were hanging out at Rhino King's camp when you cruised by. Near the second finger?

It was funny as hell messin w/ crazymexeddie around the fire last night. He passed out in the sand and we put one of the dirt weiners on him and took some pics. (There were random brats and sausages laying around camp from the food fight :laughoff: ) Then dogs took care of most the mess that night and early the next morning. :DDR_rocks!:

That was the only pic that came out. I didn't get the ones on his face and head. :laughoff: My camera batteries took a crap and the last few didn't get took I guess. :angry2: :thumb:

crd450 or triplejdogg, do you guys have any that you took?

jason should have them all on his camera. that was the hardest i had laughed in a while. i was seriously crying. i will get him to post all of his pics of the weiner incident.

  5. Do they enforce a db limit, if so, whats the limit? Also, Do you need a sparky at Dumont and if so do they encforce it? It Doesnt seem that most Nevada dunes have a sound limit but you are supposed to have a sparky.Thanks.

i don't see anything on the rules section of the DDR home page about either one. :thumb::laughoff:

  6. I Say keep it. It's cool to see what everybody has. And a good way to reconize the bikes, Rails, Rhinos.. etc... while we are out Riding.

    :woo_hoo:

i agree. sometimes the only way to put a name to a face is by what their toys look like.

  7. my first truck was an 86 1/2 nissan hardbody. my dad bought it brand new and gave it to me. when i got it the truck had close to 750,000 miles on it. i put close to 50k on it and then we sold it for 1k. it had rear ended a car bad on the 15, it had been rear ended itself, and i rolled it. besides the dents the only thing ever changed on it was the rear end. everything else was original. just thought i would throw a shout out for nissan, even though i have never owned one since, and probably never will.

  8. :D

Thanks you guys very much. We raised the whole $130 almost exactly (give or take a few bucks in Paypal fees) for Chuck. I will wire him the cash. I really appreciate everyone chipping in. Everyone's efforts here at DDR help make fun things like the Night Drags happen. :D:thumb::woo_hoo:

just got the money for the lights. :D thanks to everyone who chipped in. :drunk: it was my pleasure pulling the lights out there and helping make it an awesome night. :drunk: can't wait for the next dune trip. :woo_hoo::thumb::blink::drunk:

  9. We are almost there, guys. A couple more donations and we'll have enough to cover the cost. We are curerently at about $100. Thanks to all that have contributed so far! :D Once we get just a little more to send Chuck's way, I'll take the link down. :thumb:

hey pete, that is more than enough. you can take it down now if you want. i was thinking i was only going to get the half you said you would kick in.

  10. I would love too, but like Nick said, September is rough for me too. I have alot going on. How bout we just drag a set or two of lights along with the tree out sometime this season? We wouldn't necessarily have to wait till next summer, but we could maybe get something together within the next couple months. :DDR_rocks!:

sounds like a good plan pete. getting some lights out there during the season would be awesome. i think isbb's annual event idea would be really good. it would give people more notice and we will probably have an even better turnout then this past weekend.

  11. September is ruff... you have Laborday ( coral pink ) you have SSSS then 2 weeks after that is columbus day... Personally i would have to say keep it to a once a summer thing and let the anticipation build for next summer :D I think the only thing i would do diffrent is possssibly tip off the medics in baker that there will be a large group of people out there ( not necessarily a organized event ) but a unusually large amount of people for the summer time and if they want to kill a few hours to come out and check out the action :D

i guess it would be cool as an anual event too. there would definitely be anticipation built up over a years time.

  12. i know a lot of people are thinking it, so i will ask it. are we going to have another night drags before the season? i am totally down for it again. maybe sometime in september or will this be too soon? i know i am ready to head out again before the season is upon us.

  13. Dude we passed the f*ck out shortly after we got into the toyhauler. Sorry, wish we didn't drink so much so fast. :beerpint::beercheers: I was exhausted after I got back. All the beers (and whatever else I drank) finally caught up to me as soon I stopped running around and sat down. :mc_smiley: :hello:

don't worry about it. we got the season coming up so there will be plenty of times to hang out and party. we were actually chilling and drinking right next to the chopper when they picked him up. there were a couple of ambulances and even a CHP rolling through.

  14. :mc_smiley:

Why yes you did... I got halfway thru the whoops i was like man somthing just doesnt feeel right wtf... Get out walk around back and low and behold there is another jack that was never put up... it was bent so i tried kicking it back straight so i could put it up but it just broke off...

damn alcohol.:beercheers::hello: thanks again for getting them out of there for me. when i returned them the guy was just looking at me like WTF happened to the rear jack. then out came my story from the earlier post. :beerpint:

  15. I thought you were pauly paul.. I heard the cooler opened my eyes to see who was rummiging thru camp it LOOKED kinda like paul so i just fell back asleep!

haha, yeah it was me and my brother. we went over to see if we can meet some new faces from ddr and it was like a ghost town.

  16. .

what happen to Chucks bike? did it run out of gas?

i couldn't get it started to get from the hill to the truck at the end of the night. :beercheers: don't know what is up with it.

at least when i was getting towed back i got a free sand blast and now have chipped front a-arms and shocks. :mc_smiley:

  17. had an awesome time out there. aaron, woody, sam, both mikes, it was cool meeting and hangin with you guys. randy(who slept the whole damn way home), jason, craig, it was awesome drinking and hangin with you guys as usual. thanks to pete for the band and everything else he did to make this a bad a$$ trip (oh yeah, at 5 in the morning we went to your camp and everyone was sleeping so we helped ourselves to a six pack from your cooler. we will pay you back). isbb for pulling my light tower out from the dunes and to who ever the guy was that pulled them into the dunes. and my jockey (brother) who was fast as hell on my bike, and even faster on jason's. sorry about the rim jason, we will hook you up with a new one bro. hope the guy that busted his back gets well soon.

  18. Did they charge you for it? Hopefully not. Hey they should have taken 25% off since only 3 of the 4 lights worked. :beercheers: Did you tell them about that?

no i did not get charged and yeah i told them about the bulb. i asked for a discount but they said no because they were all working when i rented it. oh well, i tried.
