  1. i have never taken a honda axle out, but have done a few yamahas. is your axle out of the carrier already? if the honda axle is anything like the yamaha axle it has to be out of the carrier before the sprocket hub will come off. once the axle is out, the sprocket hub should slide off of the splines to the right side of the axle. once again this is how a yamaha is so i hope this helps. don't bang on anything.
  2. you got it pete. we will be rolling in friday night sometime. i will just use the mushroom clouds to guide my way.
  3. me and the wife will be out there. we will be heading out with ocean03 as usual. last weekend was our first weekend camping by crapper #6. i think we will be camping there from now on. we will be hanging a little more with ddr this trip, besides just bumming wood and putting sandy weiners on passed out faces.

  5. jason should have them all on his camera. that was the hardest i had laughed in a while. i was seriously crying. i will get him to post all of his pics of the weiner incident.
  6. i don't see anything on the rules section of the DDR home page about either one.
  7. me and my wife are stopping by the show on friday night for a couple of hours.
  8. new 4 stroke classes... outlaw 500cc - 700cc pipe only 500cc and under
  9. my first truck was an 86 1/2 nissan hardbody. my dad bought it brand new and gave it to me. when i got it the truck had close to 750,000 miles on it. i put close to 50k on it and then we sold it for 1k. it had rear ended a car bad on the 15, it had been rear ended itself, and i rolled it. besides the dents the only thing ever changed on it was the rear end. everything else was original. just thought i would throw a shout out for nissan, even though i have never owned one since, and probably never will.
  10. mine is bone stock with paddles and stretched.
  11. just got the money for the lights. thanks to everyone who chipped in. it was my pleasure pulling the lights out there and helping make it an awesome night. can't wait for the next dune trip.
  12. hey pete, that is more than enough. you can take it down now if you want. i was thinking i was only going to get the half you said you would kick in.
  13. ahhh man, it was getting good. aaron you have a really nice stretched +3 there. :DDR_rocks!:
  14. sounds like a good plan pete. getting some lights out there during the season would be awesome. i think isbb's annual event idea would be really good. it would give people more notice and we will probably have an even better turnout then this past weekend.
  15. i guess it would be cool as an anual event too. there would definitely be anticipation built up over a years time.
  16. i know a lot of people are thinking it, so i will ask it. are we going to have another night drags before the season? i am totally down for it again. maybe sometime in september or will this be too soon? i know i am ready to head out again before the season is upon us.
  17. don't worry about it. we got the season coming up so there will be plenty of times to hang out and party. we were actually chilling and drinking right next to the chopper when they picked him up. there were a couple of ambulances and even a CHP rolling through.
  18. :mc_smiley: damn alcohol. thanks again for getting them out of there for me. when i returned them the guy was just looking at me like WTF happened to the rear jack. then out came my story from the earlier post.
  19. haha, yeah it was me and my brother. we went over to see if we can meet some new faces from ddr and it was like a ghost town.
  20. i couldn't get it started to get from the hill to the truck at the end of the night. don't know what is up with it. at least when i was getting towed back i got a free sand blast and now have chipped front a-arms and shocks. :mc_smiley:
  21. had an awesome time out there. aaron, woody, sam, both mikes, it was cool meeting and hangin with you guys. randy(who slept the whole damn way home), jason, craig, it was awesome drinking and hangin with you guys as usual. thanks to pete for the band and everything else he did to make this a bad a$$ trip (oh yeah, at 5 in the morning we went to your camp and everyone was sleeping so we helped ourselves to a six pack from your cooler. we will pay you back). isbb for pulling my light tower out from the dunes and to who ever the guy was that pulled them into the dunes. and my jockey (brother) who was fast as hell on my bike, and even faster on jason's. sorry about the rim jason, we will hook you up with a new one bro. hope the guy that busted his back gets well soon.
  22. no i did not get charged and yeah i told them about the bulb. i asked for a discount but they said no because they were all working when i rented it. oh well, i tried.
  23. hey isbb, did we forget to lift up the rear jack stand before the lights were hauled out of the dunes? i noticed when i picked it up the rear jack stand was posted up against the front jack stand. no big deal, i just told them that when i left their yard with the tower the jack stand wasn't locked down and fell and broke off. :mc_smiley:
